I joined the Nation of Islam, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad's health was failing. But the teachings & the love from the teachings was very clear. He loved his people and he was committed to helping them. Despite the rumors, lies and slanderous assessments.. no one can say he did not love his people. He pulled a lot of Black folks out of the gutter. But in telling them they were Gods, he did not mean for them to become mindless followers. He taught that we should study, take it to the root!
@NanaBaakan some don't want to think of themselves as god because they think that fard would punish them if they do so. in my observation they don't want to because for some their true colors would come out and there would be a mosque dull of el hajj malik shabazz's and clarance 13 x's running through there all over again. i knew and understood that statement of truth very well before i got the lessons, i just didn't know who fard was/is. i know now. he IS our highest manifestation.
