@abbiebell106 No it's about her being an "unwhole child" and commiting suicide which automatically sends you to hell, he comes in and finds her dead and the devil begins encroaching on him, urging him to commit suicide as well. hence the "devon lies beyond this portal" e,g the portal to hell. I don't think that's a love story.
