  • And as for asr72 who wrote, "Embarrassing" ...two questions: 1) where's your drum solo video and 2) how many copies has your band sold?

  • Hate to bust all your bubbles but being a good drummer has little to nothing to do with playing solos, it's all about keeping the time and playing what is right for the song, both important skills that many young drummers overlook. If playing solos is the driving force behind your drumming aspirations I suggest you put down the sticks and pick up a guitar...or a saxaphone. When it comes to keeping time Robert is as good as anyone and better than some.

  • Embarrassing.

  • Hey everyone! I've been drumming double bass for 25 years. If you have ever played live, then you know it is never the same way twice on stage. Robert is great, he and the Lord inspired me to play drums and rock for Jesus! God bless all!

  • @tkeith138 stryper represents us all christians

  • I love his style and his feel.. don't overlook that.. I don't care really about all the other technical crap.. it sound like technical crap. He's the real deal.

  • @betteroffshred YES!!!

  • Robert puede hacerlo mejor, lo he visto en vivo y se que puede hacerlo mejor

  • Here's for all you whiners complaining that Robert Sweet can't do a drum solo. First, sure, there are drummers that can solo circles around him. I've jammed with some local guys that can solo circles around a lot of pro drummers. But here's the real deal. Robert does solos because the fans like to see it. He's giving them what they want. But as far as real music goes, Robert is one of the mosr solid, in the pocket drummers you'll ever hear. Isn't that what really matters anyway?

  • the Robert Dude is an awesome drummer! Cool solo! Nice Tom Rolls thrown in,too! A Classic! Thanks,Robert Dude for this one! B rainy,a Stryper Fanatic

  • Robert is a solid drummer with a nice heavy back beat. Excellent feel for glam/metal. And that' s what this is suppose to be about right? The feel and having some fun???

Enjoy your craft guys. It's not all about being the fastest, the best a double bass, the best at single strokes blah, blah, blah.. As I've gotten older I have finally realized this...

  • the drum solo he did during a show at japan, he was playing the kick drum at and impossible speed, second to Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden, he is my favorite

  • lol... look at thomas lang!

  • Doubt it mate, check out Nick Menza from Megadeth, you obviously don't know your metal drummers. But agreed this guy aint that spectacular.

  • if you think Robert is outta practice you should look up the other solo he does, its awesome... way better than this

  • Robert's a pocket drummer - not a soloist. He is really good, but this doesn't shine any of his talent.

  • he has an unique style

  • disappointing

  • Yeah! That was kind of boring.

If youre going in for a drum solo it better be exiting or at least interesting.

This sounds like any 13 year old dude in the garage.

  • Dude it looks if Robert Sweet just did this solo out of nowhere it sucks and I am a HUGE STRYPER FAN I personally think anyone could of done a better drum solo than this not saying Robert Sweet sucks he inspired me to pick up the drums!!!

  • He was the fastest double bass back in the 80's, he seems out of practice big time here.

  • @shagr14 I don't here loss of anything.

  • boring

  • Stryper strip the strepers

  • Sweet!!

  • get r done

  • GO ROBERT ! STRYPERTUBE RULZ !
