Everybody knows that the Vice President has much more power than the "normal" president (best example: Cheney and Bush)

That is not true. Maybe with Bush and Cheney but that's because of the typer of character of both..

In recent memory I would say Cheney and Bush is the only example. Although knowing what I know about him now, I often wonder how much George Bush Sr. did behind the scenes when Reagan was president. But most of the time I used to sit around wondering what the vice president did all day.
