  • my father used to listen to this on gramophone player good to listen this after so many years still feel so great.

  • I've done a re rubb house mix of this brill tune....

  • LOVE THIS SHIT? THANKYOU!! VIDEO IS AWESOME!!

  • The sound quality totally sucks on this one. Import the sound into Audacity with clipping shown in red and the screen is almost totally red. It's recorded way too "hot", volume up so far that it's mostly distortion. Clean it up and it might be a good song, as is, a few seconds of it was enough for my ears.

  • Esta maravilha fez muito sucesso aqui no Brasil em 1977, nos embalos das discotecas...

    Parabéns pela preciosidade!

  • The dancer make me think of a Jordache Jeans commercial. But the song is hot!

  • In the USA Disco like this had too much atmosphere for the typical bonehead to absorb.

  • CERRONE is italian origin..... ;-)

  • Il a innové avec cette batterie mis en avant et révolutionné le disco !

  • great hustle music back in da day

  • MASTERPIECE

  • Jean-Marc hit #36 in Billboard, 4-9-77. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • beautiful godfather of french eurodisco Jean Marc Cerrone, all of his tunes are 100% CLASS

  • i love how the drummer is all like 'meh this is what i do every day, why would i crack a smile?'

  • @Meechooilka,usually the House/Club/Dance venues that I frequent are FREE of the Violent Culture that Befits much of "other music" Types, that's All there is to say on that subject Sir/Madame."THIS IS" what a TRUE CLASSICs' Made of. MAESTRO of LOVE Mr. BARRY WHITE,once said just before he became "Eternal/Infinitely reborn w/the Source of All that is", that the so-called "music" now will never be of the same Classic=Quality.Yesteryear,1950s,1960s,1970s,1980s & even much of the 1990s. fin

  • this boy looking chick is so hot

  • You people think 1:04 was on purpose?

  • If I was a 70s pornstar, I would have wanted this as my background music.

  • Cerrone is and will always remain a genius. Anyone (like myself) that remembers when this song came out during that great Hustle dance era knows this music was the "bomb" when it came out there dance the real Hustle, not that crap in SNF. All the Hustle dancers get on the floor and stake their territory and go at it. What a fun time. I miss it so much. The closes I get now is to go dancing "Salsa" at the Latin Clubs in New York City.

  • ça fait du bien du vrai son melodieux et pas de hurlment en survet et capuches , que epoque de merde les années 2000

  • This is a MONSTER influence on dance/trance/house music: without a doubt!

  • best thing about disco; those sexy shoes

  • I didn't know KEITH LEMON used to be a porm star!! lol.

  • tres jolie on voie meme leur culotte aux femmes lol dommage que cette video dure pas 15 mn comme la musique reel qui est sur le cd

  • This was music at its best. I remember dancin the Hustle to this song. It was hard to stop. Awesome music from an Awesome musician. As for what Killed Disco, go talk to KC & The Sunshine Band, ABBA, Debroah Harry, and a few others the Corporate music industry loved and saturated the airwaves with that music. Cerrone left his mark which can never be washed away. Thank you Cerrrone for the good times.

  • IL VENERDI' NOTTE........di NOTTE PRAGA (Cremona) dj erryeffe

  • great music! at its best!

  • ah when music was happy, fun and love....

  • shit is hot!

  • Great Disco music !! Disco for dancing is the best !! I Remember the nights in New York city dancing the night away in "Roseland" .

  • This track is awesome. Thanks, kingprawndelight, for putting it online.

    This is great!!!

  • Happiness in music. What a concept! A great classic of dance.

  • Hit #29 soul, #36 pop. 1 hit wonder in Billboard. God bless!

  • missed the disco era...

    this song is soooo cool

even my stiff-ass could move to this...lolz

  • Electrifying !

  • i love this song that dude is cool :P

  • okkk that just sounds wrong

  • every 1 should make disco come back i love it and im 14

  • I love the Euro Disco Sound, this is one of my favorite tunes by Cerrone...

  • Somehow this video makes me think that they are all on drugs of some kind :)))

  • Wow that takes me back Night Studio 54 and the Flying Saucer Disco.

  • i love disco, but this is the sound that eventually killed disco due to the cheap and cheesy sound. its just way too electronic, and lacks the soul that earlier disco songs had.

  • French sound did not kill disco, french sound was a new wave in disco. At the time, US market was oversaturated with disco and that's what killed it, not this. It stayed very much in Europe, which now can be witnessed by the presence of house music, unlike in the US, where it's still considred cheap, chessy and gay.

  • Comment removed

  • yup ur rite,Disco or Nu-Disco and House is doing really good in Europe and without any stereotypes as in the US.

  • @Meechooilka

Well said! I could not agree more!

  • @Meechooilka this has to be one of the stupidest comments i've seen on youtube.

  • @albertxdiaz Well, you seem to be the only one thinking this way. Sorry

  • @Meechooilka I personally like the classic disco sound better, but this is good too. It still has the groove and smoothness that i enjoy, and which modern house and dance seems kinda devoid of. I know a few house tracks from the late 90's that have an actual bass LINE instead of just a bass BEAT, but that's about it. It's kinda sad, because I'm at the age where I'm supposed to be clubbing, but I don't really feel like it because the music doesn't make me wanna dance at all

  • @CrazyliciousFlavor I know exactly what you mean man. I feel the same way. Im very much into the deep and funky and disco sound in house music, so naturally i love all these classic tunes. I still go raving and clubbing because im a music lover overall but i wish we could go back to this style...

  • @CrazyliciousFlavor Oh man thats how I feel. I like the classic disco also. But I wish they would come back with this sound. I'm just a youngster and like disco and older music it was awsome.

  • @Meechooilka so what's your point? Are you saying this is music for gays to buy a cheap chess set to?

  • Well said and I totally agree.

  • true

  • Teaching time....The Old C.O.C.P Club...Sugar Hill Club Brooklyn......the Old Coppa Cabana...Cho-Cha Beach nights...The Jezebel Express Lounge, Brooklyn.....

  • Now this is %@^!* Disco... cerrone was the man

  • Cerrone was so talented he could play the bongos and the drums at the same time, as evidenced by this video! :)

His disco sound started a couple of years before this, as the drummer for Kongas. I'm not too crazy about his later stuff, but this track is a true classic. Him and Alec Costandinos basically worked together to make this sound.

  • Apparently the best disco song ever. Discuss.

  • universal 5 boro NYC 3step hustle clubclassic

  • clubclassic

  • YOU suck! lol!

  • Legendary music. So nice

  • the birth of Disco music

  • Umm...no. As much as I love Cerrone (!!!), they follow a much earlier Black American and Latino trend.

  • Of course you're right ... but this is the birth of Disco Music nicknamed "the French Sound" in the States!...

  • completely agree

  • "Love to love you baby!"

  • bad ass!

  • The dopest, HEAVIEST, shit!

  • ranked as the greatest disco tune ever created. i like the full version with the chicks drinking champaigne at the start.

  • I do as well

  • I used to dance in Ipaemas 52nd and Broadway.

  • Me too, Ipanema had some great dancers!!!!

  • LOVE THIS!!!!

  • Thirty years back a local movie theatre (Odeon) used to play this record before the commencement of movies. I searched in local shops and got it taped in my collection, then.

    What a nice music.

  • ..simply Coool ;o ))

  • I can still remember shaking around in my dad's nutsack while he got down to this song prior to my conception.

  • amazing!!!!!!!

  • orchestral, production, and melodic masterpiece representing the cultural and intellectual apex of this civilization: the 1970s; note the grand London Symphony Orchestra, with Pat Halling, concertmaster, conducted by the incomparable Alec Costandinos, featuring The Birds of Paris (Kay Garner, Sue Glover, Joanne Williams, Madeleine Bell, Sunny Leslie, Stephanie De Sykes, Jackie Sullivan, Jean Hawker)

  • sure brings back good memories ...that was such an era!!!!

  • wow I was 14 and still hit the club scene townhouse 48..

  • wow I was 14 and still hit the club scene townhouse 48..

  • Brings back memories of back in "the day." Love the long version too. Thanks. Another group recorded this song too, their name escapes me at the moment.

  • This brings back memories. I remember I won awards for this kind of music. WOW!!

  • This classic song stood the test of time. It still rocks the dancefloor. This track set the standard for house.

  • One of the best disco songs ever I used to mix it with version by the late great Frankie Crocker Orchestra oh yeah! by the way loved Cerrones drumming on Colonel Abram"s songs D.J. Jerry of L.I.

  • Que porra e isso? I have a bunch of disco compilations with music from this era, and spent alot of time at 54 in the day- (not 33)and the Roxy skating to this stuff. This sounds like the source music for a pursuit scene from C.H.I.P.S. Not something that would have packed the floor at any of the NY Clubs I went to. Did my research-lame 4 on the floor- bad synth- canned backing vocals.

  • This groove alone is possibly responsible for thousands of deep house records. Thanks

  • my mom thinks this song is the best

  • BRIVIDI.......

  • me encanta esta musica creci con ella a mi padres le gustaan y yo todo el dia la oia no que la porueria de regeton y la musica actual la musica disco fue la mejor

  • I agree with Mike the old Ipanema, Roseland, Starship and Townhouse 48 in New York

  • I'm sure this could still easily pack a dancefloor...

  • I am trying my damnedest to understand the Cerrone phenomenon. I DO like the mash- up with Sweet Connection- awesome. But this? it's just like vanilla disco to me. Hmmm. More research required.)

  • the mash up wouldn't exist if the original wasn't around. Not vanilla at all, just innovative for the late 70's. I was in junior high and just started to Dj when this disco came out and it blew everyone away. Do your research and enjoy. Adios!!!!!

  • Great Alec R. Costandinos composition. He wrote it for a drummer, hence the kick drum is in the front of the mix.

  • Excellent pour l'époque.

Transition parfaite entre la musique classique et la musique moderne.

  • I have the Album!

  • BEAUTIFUL.

  • love me love me love me cerrone 1976 from monterrey mexico saludos

  • Cerrone is awsome!!!! I would literally die when I would Hustle to this song. I love spinning to this song. Man I wish I could go back to those days.

  • You probably remember when the Djs would mix in Romeo and Juliet and You never know how much I love you by the love n Kisses Orchestra....talk about a 30 minute non stop Hustle...at a minimum...kids today can't handle that much human contact. Amazing memories. CM

  • Man, you are so right. Those mixes were killers on the dance floor, but we managed to handle all throught the songs. I just wish they would show some of the great Hustle dancing that I used to witness in the club. You are on point when you say kids today couldn't handle that much body contact. They would be passed out. I dance alot of Salsa now and they might get through one song, and they are sitting down. Not me!!!!!! Thank you for the comment.

  • Do you know of any good DVDs with Salsa or Hustle lessons. I am going to dive back into dancing in 08 and while I can carry my own I need the DVDs for my partner. Honestly, I probably need a tune up as well. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks. CM

  • As far as the Hustle goes, that might be difficult because that is difficult to find. However, Salsa is entirely different. You can learn different styles, On the One, On the Two, New York Style, Miami Style, LA Style, it goes on from there. Eddie Torres in New York has a great video and Jose Neglia from LA has a great video. I prefer to find an instructor and go that route. More personal. Good Luck!!!!!!

  • Cerrone! Funky drummer. I bought this album way back in the 70's. The intro chat is magnificient. I love this cut. Cerrone!!!!

  • Fucking amazing Disco! I Love It!

  • did the 70's film "The Stud" rip this melody for there title track "He's the Stud, whats his name, whats his game, he's thhhhhee Stuuuud"

  • THE BROTHER AT 0:21

    WHAT IS HE DOING?

  • Where is Greg Cerrone now? I'd like to know where is this fantastic musician!!!

  • I came out of the closet in 1976 and this was one of the most glamorous disco songs that was spinning at the time and still is a testament to the fabulous vibe that was Disco!!!

  • Vive la France

  • Another Great Hit in 1976 from Cerrone! brings back dancing memories! This was the first time that I see this video, never knew it existed, I just think that the person who commented on the the black guy who is not disco is right! he belongs in a "do the bump" club! and the sexy legs ladies need dancing lessons! It looks like they are lost in space dancing to their own beat! my red neck friend dances better than that!

  • Probably the best disco song ever, it was way ahead of it's time with it's underground euro beats.

Cerrone, Alec R. Costandinos, Don Ray, Allan Hacksaw, the kings of 70's euro disco - the made some great tunes together these guys.

  • cerrone music is great in porn movies great fuck

  • I respect disco too much to like Cerrone's music! lol It made disco for redneck!

  • Thanks to Alec R Costandinos the king of eurodisco who write this amazing song!

  • Kay...like duh, like whatever, like yeah baby.

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!! love it love it love it!!

  • watching this made me swig 4 cans of nostalgic beer

  • Absolutley essential 70's Eurodisco. The production on this track was way ahead of it's time and it still sounds fresh today !! Cerrone wrote some incredible disco tracks that will NEVER be forgotten.

  • DISCO DISCO FEVER BABY. FAR OUT YEAH !

  • those girls are horrible!

  • HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW it was good, and STILL IS!!!

  • cerrone was the man...loved supernature

  • Ecco chi Elio offre al coro delle voci nel "Pippero" ("...qualcosa di Cerrone?....."). Storico!!!!!!!

  • Cerrone! Your arrangements still sound fresh - 31 years later. Crisp and danceable as ever. Viva Cerrone.

    Je Suis un Disco Star.

  • Thanks from the bottom of my heart...uve given a chance for later generations to xperience the 70's feel!!

  • The beginning of the video is nice. This song is perfect for Hustle dancing, NY style of course.

  • The black guy doesn't belong there, he is not Disco, I think he got into the wrong club, he was probably looking for the funky club. But that's ok, he looks like he was having fun.

    The music is what's important.

This is a killer song, unique in all it's way.

  • I was totally addicted to disco in the late 70's and never heard this one from Cerrone at the time, can u believe it, thanks to the internet helping us DISCOver what we've missed along the years.

  • yeah but the "i dont knowwhivh girl to frantically fuck forst" image is old fashioned..the song is futuristic for sure but that is one ugly ole pervert...

  • what?!

    are you smokin man

  • 2007 and I listen to this song at least once a week. One of the most powerful Disco songs of all times among Disco lovers and connoisseurs.

This song never sounds old, it's amazing.

    Thanks for posting it.

    Thanks Cerrone.

  • yeah cerrone was a bad dude...loved supernature

  • amazing, Cerrone's the greatest

  • Ces´t la vie :D

  • fantastic disco sound!
