  • All I say is that if you haven't tried this swing and you are uncomfortable with your current results at least give it a try. I was shooting mid 80's and wasn't getting any better or worse so I decided (reluctantly) to give the S&T method a try and now I'm shooting mid to low 70's! Quite an improvement. It all matters on what's comfortable and what you can duplicate over and over to get good results.

  • @danthemansa1: O'Hair started swinging better the week after he left Foley and went back to his old coach. His ball striking improved exponentially at The Players.

  • Stack and Tilt is dying guys. The top players in the world are not going to it and they shouldn't. Look at this weeks Bayhill tourney. Marino, Laird, Toms, etc... what do they have in common? They all are steep and able to hit high fades. Low draws do not win championships in the modern game. One needs to be able to hit it high and soft and work it easily from left to right. It is much more difficult to do with stack and hook teachings. Great steep swingers...Tiger pre Hank, Jack, Norman, Irwin

  • @4AStateChamp stack and hook! lol. that's pretty accurate. it just sucks with anything more than a 5 iron. the "home made" swings seem to hold up pretty well on tour. ST is a myth/fad/fallacy with few proven results and abandonment by top players: Badds, Weir, et al.

  • its just so annoying when dick head s&t supporters say baddely was 17th in the world when he left s&t, then dropped to 230 or whatever. look at his GIR which is all that matters when we're talking about the swing. the reason he climbed to 17th in the world in 2007 is because this guy has a fucking deadly short game, not because andy and mike's s&t got him there. he was never once in the top 100 in gir under them. he reached that rank INSPITE of s&t!!

  • so far my predictions are looking pretty good except for weir(looks like s&t permanently ruined him). GIR rankings 27/02/2011 - o hair has plummeted to 182(4th to last) . charlie wi(s&t) is t140th(110 in 2010). troy has dropped to 72. aaron is up to t11 since leaving s&t, his highest ever(187 in 2007,t166 in 2008,186 in 2009 all under s&t)other s&t players: alex cejka - 109 in 2010. bill lunde - 139 in 2010. so assholes, if you're talking about the swing, state facts that matter - GIR!!!!

  • to all you stack and tilt supporters - fans of that bogus, unnatural, unpowerful move: i made my bold predictions last year and was trashed by the homosexual s&t andy & mike groupies. they were:sean o hair will fall off the map due to woking with foley, aaron baddely will improve, troy matteson(s&t) leading the GIR was a once off fluke, john senden will continue his consistency (with his old school upright swing which is basically the opposite of s&t theory), mike weir will improve(leaving s&t)

  • Maybe it wasn't his thing, but the stack and tilt swing he had was simple and powerful. I don't the changes he made with Leadbetter from Lynch but it's undeniable that he played his best under stack and tilt.

  • yea, that aaron baddeley like madonna is my mom

  • ehh..i dont even think thats aaron baddely; you dont see tour pros hitting off of driving range mats ..especially ones as bad as those

  • If you like Slicing the ball this is a perfect swing. If you like hitting it staight and drawing it then this swing is horrible. Badds will "NEVER" be as good of a ball striker as he was when working with Mike and Andy. and even when he was working with them he did not use all of the Stack and Tilt principles which is why his game stopped improving. He's told over and over again to do this or that and didn't.

  • @m4ttdj4 yeah this is definetly a slice swing. Let's analyze it: takeaway and backswing is beautiful, attacks the ball from inside, square face, and then nice turn to the finish. oops, that describes a nice DRAW. Are you joking?? How is this a slice swing? And if the stack and tilt is so good how come nobody uses it? Sorry nevermind the great Eric Axley and Tommy Armour use it. sorry if forgot about those legends.

  • Just because players on tour dont work with the stack and tilt guys does not mean the principles arn't present in nearly every swing. especially the golf legends. And there is over 25 players who work with them. And its a "CUT" (slice is a little dramatic) because his path towards the ball is a little steep, Shoulders are open/opening, wrist is flipping, and hips stop moving foward.

  • I mean the swing looks great but its all about putting up the numbers and having control over your golf shots. From him being ranked in the 200's pre stack and tilt its obvious he didn't and then going all the way up to 17th using stack and tilt.... Pretty big difference there

  • Excellent swing, Why did he ever try stack and tilt? Messed him up, will he ever swing this good again?

  • @TheBallbag2000 he won 3 times with mike and andy. when he left s&t he was ranked 36th in the world. ever since he has fallen 100 spots in world ranking

  • I really like this swing it is a simple single shift swing. I know Dale Lynch works with Matthew Goggin who has a great swing. Is Dale Lynch a The Golfing Machine er. Aaron Baddeley is a good guy a good golfer and a great putter I hope he comes back strong. I was never totally sold on him going to stack and tilt as he had a great swing before.

  • the guy won 3 times with stack n tilt in two years and got his tour card with the method- get real-he spent years with leadbetter before stack n tilt

  • I'm talking about Dale Lynch not Leadbetter dude. Badds played his best golf as an 18 year old under the guidance of Lynch. He won two Aussie Opens in a row, one as an Amateur.

  • this is aaron baddeley before the stack and tilt dude

  • That's what i mean by "pre" meaning "before" he went to stack and tilt.

He had a great swing before stack and tilt. He is going back to his original coach so hopefully we'll see him swinging like this again

  • Were you trying to hit a fade or did you just go over the top?

  • lol
