I opened for Tony Douglas in Jacksonville Texas just tonight. He's a GREAT guy and still an awesome entertainer!

Great job on the video, Tony. Enjoyed it very much!! If ya'll have any old videos or even just recordings you could upload, I'm sure everybody would love to hear them. I just found an ollllldddd recording of my uncle's (Rudy P - Freddie) a few minutes ago. You never know what you'll find on here. Congratulations on this video. It was great! Hope to see more.

Back "in the day", we never missed Tony and "The Shrimpers" when they came to town. One of the most underrated voices in country music ever. Was told Tony was offered a Nashville contract bubt turned it down because he didn't want to leave Athens.
