I finished the game with bad ending, when I was returned to the menu it said the game is 80% complete. How can I make it to 100%? I could replay the last mission, I saved Tokai's ass but after that the game returned me to the main menu for that was just a level replaying. Do I have to start over to be able to save Tokai? Will it give me 100%?

@Dukefazon Yes, you have to beat the hole game from the begining again :-( But if you manage to get the highest rank (warrior) on all of the missions, you will at least increase your % points.

The Kusagari Clan got slaughtered, every single one of them except The Last Kusagari (the guy you play as.)

I've beaten this game 3 times already, and I'm not satisfied by anything but this ending. It's happy! Mariko's all better, Otori is cured of the Komori poison, you rescued Miyu, Miyu finally took charge and laid out the vision for the new chapter in the Sato Gumi, you surpass the skills and the wisdom of your master Otori, everyone's in your debt, you're the wisest and strongest Gaijin they ever metand you now rule the Sato clan with Miyu. It's just a feel-good ending.

Thank god for YouTube! I was willing to forgive the terrible voice-acting, constant glitches, eratic controls, and pointless sword-fights for quite a fun and engaging little action experience. But the fact that they would deny you the proper ending, and then ask you to beat the whole game again for another chance at seeing it is just plain cruel.

I can't believe I got the good ending easily on my first try. After getting my ass handed to me by ninjas on 3-2 and 3-3 I owned all four sword fights on the last mission.

I think Scott should have run of with Mariko instead of staying with Miyu. I got sick of Miyu by mission 1-5.

You can't. If you look, he has no health bar. The only way to win is by destroying his sword. Oh and no you can't choose to kill or spare him. It automatically spares him.

hey, i hav also achieved the "happy ending" and to make is easier for those who havnt, if you loose against him, just pause it and load last chekpoint and you can keep trying as many time as you like

dude u protect him cause the swordmaster guy that wants to kill tokai is poisoned, and tokai has antidote. hope this helps  =)

Well tehhalosord the reason is because earlier on Otori was poisoned by a poison blade and Tokai is the only one who has the antidote to save Otori.

I've just beaten this game today. It took me three months to finish the game. I had tried to defeat Tokai three times and I failed at each try because of the aggravating controls. Good thing that I gotten a good ending because I'm pretty good at the sword battles. Yet the game was pretty good despite some flaws (i give it a 7.5/10).

im so glad this is on here. the first time i did this fight i lost, and a game site said that i dont want the gay ending so if i lose i should turn it off and do the level again, instead i turn it off, go back in and now all i see is the end credits. so instead of the bad video i got no video, so thanks for posting this.

When you beat it, you can't access your game log. You could go to the Replay a level option, to play a level you beat, but you won't see endings for the missions.

I didn't think attacking him would have been appropriate! :P The bad ending, while decent enough basic closre, was definitely dissappointing, if only because it just sort of ended with no real resolution for Miyu and Scott. yeah, its fun but it lacks real substance, such as: why the hell am i using a sword when i can cap his ass, and also i got stuck in the graphics twice, the subtitles are constantly out of timing, and The cutscecnes are horribly disappointing in terms of how amaturely they were animated. And the fact i have to beat the game AGAIN!!! with rank of samurai to get 105%. But otherwise gameplay and swordfighting was fantastic.

Thanks a bundle man. I (like many people apparently) just beat the game a couple minutes ago and got the bad ending on purpose. I didn't even walk up to otori, just let him stab the guy. Then I go to level select and walk all the way through the damn level again just to find I can't see the good ending. Believe me, your posting this video saved the lives of many ubisoft employees.

When I was losing to Otori I put the power off (in order todo have another chance), but it seems that he defeated me before, and the game was saved, so I ´couldn´t see any ending...
