A little trick I've noticed in Pokemon, is to always use a non-physical move on the first turn, because most of the time Protect or Detect will be the first thing your opponent will try so at least you're not wasting the PP on a physical move.
1st evolve aron at the next level 2nd get rid of swellow and get/ level up skarmory 3rd get blizican to lv 41 4th get breloom to 42/ or get rid of him for gulpin and evolve him in swalot
Go to Route 120 now and go south. There is a hidden Revive in the tall grass. Cross the bridge, and you'll see Steven. After a battle with his Kecleon, he'll give you the Devon Scope. It alows you to see any unseeable Pokemon. Now go back to the gym, and press "A" to the place where you can't get in. The Devon Scope is automatically used, and you'll see a Kecleon getting away. Finally, you can get into the gym!

when i done this, i had a lv 31 gardevoir lv 39 blaziken lv 32 gyarados and a lv 32 lairon. lairon helped a lot
