i have a theory that the show sales had started to decline (as most musicals do, not all shows can run as long as phantom of the opera after all), that they did the MTV show to give it a little more life for a while longer, which I'm sure it did. although they probably didn't anticipate it closing quite so early, but the economy is bad and sales for a lot of shows are probably down

Autumn got the lead in something called "Glimpses of the Moon" and Bailey got a part in a production of High School Musical (can't remember what character, I've never seen those movies.)

ok first of all LBB can't play Elle Woods forever so eventually they would have to get a new Elle Woods. Personlly, i wanted Lauren to win but then i relized that everyone is good in there own way. Bailey may not be the best singer/actress but (hopefully) she will learn from her mistakes and grow as a singer/actress. She is young and has a good future ahead and has plenty time to grow. Who knows maybe 7 years from now Bailey will be a HUGE broadway star!

Vocal timbre (spelling) changes from person to person. You also need to remember she's younger than LBB so that is a factor too.
