I'm a greek vet and there are many many organisations providing the best to animals throughout the country.

@stergiosvet You maybe a vet,it sounds unlikely,but you do sound like a typical in denial greek who tries to justify the animal abuse of his own country by mentioning America for example. Also I should remind you that the "organisations providing the best to animals" are in fact 95% non-greek! I wonder if you watched Atheatos Kosmos (Alter) the other night with the journalist Hardavelas - 15,000 euros paid to a vet who only neutered 3 dogs, so typical of a country still full of corruption!

@JacksHounds Unfortunately, the poisoners and abusers seem to be getting more audacious and are not waiting until the tourists have gone, as you can see by the incidents from May to date and still happening today even. There was a silent protest all over greece on 26th June about the poisoning but it seems coincidentally that the abusers have stepped up since then as if to say, "this is what we think of your protest"!! Sadly, I think you will be waiting a very long time to visit Greece!!
