  • Liuhebafa (6 harmonies, 8 methods) is an internal martial art and its training stresses a moving or floating root. Liuhebafa movements are similar to the other Chinese internal martial arts: the yielding and neutralizing power of taichi, the circular power of bagua, the direct power of xingyi, but has more of an emphasis on mind and intent and uniting with spirit. Check out "Unify the Body with Liuhebafa" by Xiaoling Liu, Inside Kung-Fu, March 2003.
