  • I doubt it tastes not good as the one in Vietnam. the pork chop should be grilled on coals, the outcome is very different if you don't do so. the pork in Australia is very smelly, I lived in Australia few years so I know how it tastes

  • @GDQT - In Vietnam, most people don't have money to buy pork and some can only afford to eat vegetables and rice. I think that I'm very lucky to live in Australia where there is plenty of Pork, Beef, Chicken and vegetables. The pork tastes fine and I love it!!

  • @LinhHayman Amen! This looks mouthwatering yummy and easy to make!! Thanks for the recipe!!

  • @LinhHayman LOL, who can not buy pork in Vietnam? lolololololol it is not true when you say many people in Vietnam do not have money to buy it @.@

  • @GoAlienUFO - Alot of poor peopl in VN can't buy pork, my cousins live in VN and are poor they live on Vegetables and rice only.

  • @LinhHayman , Yes their are a lot of poor people in Vietnam but the point of this video is to show people how to make Com tam not talking about the living conditions of Vietnam.Actually It depends where in Vietnam it is, in the cities people have more to eat maybe in the country side you see more people with barely enough food to eat. Anyways why are their so many silly posts on cooking foods. Man I'm pretty there are sites to talk about living conditions of Vietnam.

  • @GoAlienUFO Should you really be laughing? A lot of people can't afford to buy a lot of things right now, including pork, chicken and beef and not just in Vietnam. Be more considerate.

  • @LadyLatias , Not everyone in Vietnam is poor , stop projecting your problems onto other people. Vietnam is making progress. The middle class and elite classes are rising. They have more to eat than in the past. This video show her enjoyment of food , take your anger some where else. if you don't like to see people enjoying making food. If this is a documentary showing poor people then it's wrong to laugh but this is food.

  • @fire123w Did you at all pay attention to who I was addressing or why I was addressing them? I was being angry at someone who was loling at the fact people can't buy pork, as if it's idiotic to even consider it, which I consider quite offensive.

I'm Vietnamese myself, don't bloody tell me about how my own country is doing.

  • @LadyLatias ,Um I'm Vietnamese to bud.

  • @LadyLatias ,Sorry my honest mistake

  • @LadyLatias , Your comment is so nonsense I'm surprised it hasn't been smacked down with a tons of thumbs down.

  • @LadyLatias ,oops my bad lmfao I was trying to reply to the wrong person, nevermind my bad.

  • @GDQT come on australian pork is not smelly....u are buying from shit shops.....

i own a factory....we have the fresh pork daily...premium pork...u live here only few years that shows how much knowledge u have....i lived here for over 3 decades...i know there are shitty pork out there, but there is also great pork too.....u cannot simply generalized aussie pork for on ur bad experiences.....

  • Hey Linh, how do you make broken rice? And also I know you didn't include the "bi suong" those long tangly chewy bits, but do you know how to make it? Thanks.

  • @ttrinhy - Hi, if you want to eat with broken rice, you can buy broken rice in an Asian supermarket then cook it in the same way as normal rice. And yes I'll have to make a video on how to make Bi which is also sold in Asian supermarket. If you subscribe it will keep you updated with my videos. will make it next few weeks :)

  • @LinhHayman Does it cost cheaper than whole rice?

  • @ghostofpaulrevere - Hi, broken rice cost more than normal rice because there's alot more labor in breaking the rice grains before it is sold.

  • yummy :)

  • God, the background noise is amazing.

  • What if i use fresh lemon grass ,would that work?

  • @overkiIls - Hi, yes, that's good too but chop it up finely or use a food processor to mince it :)

  • @overkiIls Hey and thanks for the advice. Right now my Pork chop are in the fridge as i type and is ready to go. I actually let it set and marinade overnight. Hopefully it turns out nice :]

  • no fish sauce?

  • @stevesnackincake - Hi, sometimes I use fish sauce instead of soya sauce, very nice too :)
