also i agree stats arnt important but i guess for alot of stikers the amount of goals you score is pretty important in my humble opinion.
i just find it typical of most english people that they use the old trafford night as or world cup 2002 as their veiw of ronaldo. he was great on both occassion but past his best which leads me to belive you hadnt seen him at his best which again makes me realise why you think a world class player like henry is as good as a legendary player like ronaldo

I remember his days at inter, Ronaldo was only 26 or 27 in 2003, surely that are most strikers peak years, its a bad set of affairs when a striker peaks at 22 or 23 years of age. Plus ronaldo has had more clubs than women, he's never happy, he stayed at barcelona for one season and pissed off to inter, when he came back from world cup he walked out on inter aswell, who helped get the man healthy again. How many greats behave this way. We'll have to agree to disagree.

well what your showing me is that you never really watched ronaldo in the nineties because you wouldnt be saying this if you did. first you say strikers have better stats then you say its not about stats. at the end of the day when ronaldo won his first world player of the year award you were 10 im not suprised you are not aware of his greatness as there was a lack of european football at the time.

no offence man, but zidane said recently that ribery is better than C ronaldo and messi which is complete horse shit. I don't care what former greats say, there all spoof artists, pele said nicky barmby would be a world class star, he turned out to be anything but world class. the only journos I listen to are the pundits on RTE, theres no way Giles, brady or dunphy would put ronaldo as the greatest of all time. RTE is probably the worst footballing panel around. Eamonn Dunphy is a twat who will spout any controversial rubbish under the pretence that he's "unafraid to say things that pundits on other channels wouldn't". Instead, he just comes across as an arrogant fool with blinkered opinions. Prime example is his vendetta against C.Ronaldo. Everyone agrees C.Ron is a prick but how can anyone deny his talent? Dunphy does.
