the only reason this is difficult is cause you try to say things differently like "circle" but its just mutliplication.... NOT HARD.... the awnser is d...
omg crazy MY ASS its easy sh!t... solved it in 30 secs (no thinking required)**much**.. so like u can change that ugly 0 sign into x (remembers its not multiplication x) soo.. cxd=cd+c+d let L=1 m=2 n=3 I. 1x2=2x1 so that one works... II. 0x0=(0x0)-1 Nope that one doesnt..cause 0doesnt equal to -1 III. 1x(2+3)=(1x2)+(1x3) 5=5 so that one works also so your answer is I and III which is D.
you got the right answer but only because you fail at reading. D says I and II are correct, which is right. III is false.
you changed the 0 to an x, which was a BAD decision because in your problem solving you actually treat the x as multiplication (when you made a reminder to not treat it as such!)
circle means multiply AND add the two values
you got lucky. next time dont think something is easy as "sh!t" when you dont know the "sh!t" youre talkin about
We did this in our algebra 2 class, but we called it "star problems" because we used a star sign. This is fairly easy, and getting it in a minute and a half after some thinking is no problem. The answer is D.
and the 7likes dont really know wtf is going on

i reached D in 2 minutes
I.= L^2-1+L
II.= L^2+2L-1
III is false, LM+LN+L+M+N is not = LM+LN+2L+N
dont laugh if i get it wrong :D
noobcola 5 years ago
I lm+l+m True
II l^2+2l-1 true
III lm+ln+l+m+n is not = lm+l+m+ln+l+n False
The answer is D

if it is that east then why is it difficulty five problem? Do you know the solution?
mathproblems 5 years ago
ya, but it is a SAT problem so it should take at the most 2 minutes to solve considering the 20-25 minute limit on each section
noobcola 5 years ago
the college board has in=dentified this as a diificulty 5 problem,
mathproblems 5 years ago
ya i agree, it is pretty simple; all you have to do is the distributing stuff and check to see if its true
