It might would've been if this would've been a Blur Interview. But it isnt. Its an Interview with Graham Coxon about his solo album. Wouldn't make much sense to interview Alex for that would it?
@Lovesrichey Calm down, take a pill, have a nap, come back to youtube see my comment and go over the top and sensitive again and go round in that circle if u like, if u cant hack a comment on youtube, how do you deal with everyday life.
i really feel bad for him when a blur conversation comes up, i mean its his own business, i just feel like he needs to be left alone about it... which is totally find now anyway :)
OMG This is so different to Blur. It's the first time I've heard Graham Coxon on his own. It's fuckin brilliant! A mixture of loads, sounds quite punkish. I can hear alot of Weller. Amazing!
He is a great guitar player but I don't think he writes very good songs. Damon is much much better at it, and together they complement eachother very well. But as we can tell from the Think Tank album then blur can do very well without him. It's actually my favorite with them. Brilliant album.
@theonuk I don't think Blur is well without him. Think Tank was just a Gorillaz sounding album. It is not Blur, because Graham was not in it. Damon had to convince the other members to do it. They were hesitant to do it without Graham. He is a huge part of blur. His guitar riffs, and style is very "Blur". I think 13 has the best Blur songs, but my favourite album is Parklife.
Hardly. Coxon co-wrote many of the Blur songs, and others such as 'Coffee and TV' he wrote himself. The whole 'Happiness in Magizines' album is fantastic, but so is 'Love Travels at Illegal Speeds' and his latest 'The Spinning Top'. Some cracking songs were written on both of those. Damon may have been the initial drive behind the band rise to fame, but Graham is the musician of the group and the artist with the most talent out of the two - by far.
Grahams right though, the music industry just turns everything on its head, they've only got themselves to blame for ripping off recording musicians and buyers as well.
Graham, you are Freaking Great (speaking of Freaking Out) --a talented, fantastic musician and a tribute to Rock-n-Roll. Plus a great human being which I cant say about most rock-n-rollers
i wish the whole song was in here... i find it so interesting.. being completely glued to the 1990-1999 era of blur and seeing graham's view on the reforming. I saw blur at hyde park and it was so amazing and perfect, he was smiling and having fun but... you never can tell if he wanted to do it or not. I love the guy anyway!
I have that CD "magazines" and believe me, it ROCKS!
A rock-n-roll GEM!! Graham is raw talent. And definitely the "cool guitarist with spectacles." But i love the whole gang BLUR - love every one of 'em. Graham does my favorite solo stuff of the all of them, however. (i.e. magazines)He's just a very clever guitarist and I love love love guitar. So there 'tis.
Seems like graham not comfortable in front of camera. However this show give me a chance to see the "real' graham, not pretend in front of camera. He is nice.....
Thank you for editing the tag. About the right of saying anything - yes, you could, but sometimes the others can interpret you by the wrong way...Have a nice weekend!

I am a blur fan... but I think, it would have been a better interview, if it had of been Alex James, Bassist from Blur...
Graham is a tad shy... and camp... a bit like Kenneth Williams, from the carry on films?...
but a good musician though...

'Do something really stupid as he's already a stupidly nervous type of person'
Graham said these words 5 years ago, on the Islington stage before performance 'Latte'. These words and this song in my heart already few years.
And if 'stupid' word is strong just 'cos I don't know words better. Think I know english worse than each of London's 4 years children.
