  • where does he use this? because i thought of it as kind of a swiss triplet kind of thing with a flam or both together then 2 rights followed by a left. so flam right right left.

  • Awesome!!!!

Thanx alot for this lesson!! ;))

    Cheers!

  • nice lesson!!

  • hello, nice video, your drumset is "classic maple" or "legacy series classic" ??

  • Awesome licks Sam. So where you from? SF bay area gives you a shout!

  • Im live in London at the moment although I was born in Portland, OR. Good to hear from you

  • Sorry Sam, im confused by the sticking.. Its 16th note triplets. RR+LL together and then foot is what i see you play, thats 5 notes. What have I got wrong here.??

  • Its actually 4 Notes....

    1. Hands Together

    2. Right

    3. Left

    4. Kick

If your counting in 16th note triplets the hits land on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th notes of the beat. so your not playing on the 2nd or 6th note of the 16th note triplet. A little difficult to explain in writing!

  • Thanks Sam, that makes sense to me now..!
