  • woow u guys are austrailian?? how cool..i'm marshallese i wanna go to austrailia some day :D good surfin tho thumbs upp :)

  • you know touristic exposure is good and all for a country that needs investment like the marshall islands...but honestly how much capital of this new indies trader venture will generate benefits for the marshallese people...all i can see from this picture is airfares for continental, accommodation on trader, then back bags go home. kommol tata.

  • water is like bathtub is reallyy warm no need diving suit for reall if you wear diving your goinig really shit

  • Why does everyone have reef boots????

  • rich dipshids getting stuffed lerft & RIGHT? carry on, carryon , clogg it up mates and dont forget u dRULE!!

  • These guys are clowns! Good waves, HORRIBLE surfing.

  • how bout posting a video of yourself surfing so we can all see your great style??

  • i dont see my sharks biting..what happened to them? i was hoping to see them surfers get bitten. lol kidding. i miss home.

  • so much hating in here.. sheesh. be happy for once.. it doesn't hurt at all.. i promise! :)

  • fukwits -- wow adventure travel on a big yacht --then post on internet --wankers

  • why bother going on a surfing adventure in a remote location if you're going to take the adventure and remoteness out of it? what a joke, total kooks on a million dollar yacht sipping wine and playing with their tongues? wtf!

i bet the only interaction these tourists had with locals was at immigration at the airport.

    ps, learn to surf kooks.

  • there are no immigrations there... and uh no million dollar yachts either lol

  • i worked for a few months with the shawnmoats roofing crew on kwaj doing the hangers, i soo wanted to go surf their but left my boards in florida. tear....

  • looks great, we are sailing up to marhsalls this year on our boat, can't wait!!

  • he cool trip

  • that's my island!! yes, ARNO!! I heard about the surfing spot!

  • WOW.. nice video. SO, where exactly is this at? I am marshallese I can't make out which island or atoll you guys are surfing at.. I LIKE IT!

  • It is the western most point of Arno I believe. I forget the name of the island.

  • Sorry you are mistaken , they are in Ralik chain not Ratak

  • Your right about the main portion of the movie. Sorry I kind of skipped through the boring surf and just saw the place they called 'Chuckies' which is Arno Arno. And no I'm not crazy but I'm glad that you surf. Also I apologize for the people disrespecting your country. I said locals don't surf in reply to some comment way down the page but it got posted at the top.

  • Reading these comments reminds me why i cant stand the surfing scene. Surfing is easy so get over yourself Dan cuz ur a kook and a freak. This looks like an awesome trip and thanks for putting up, it was the first footage seen of a part of the world that i am interested in going. Thanks heaps Kallchin, i think your blue collar surfing style rocks. Take it easy! Vii

  • This is where the Iraqi American Vets should work after they get out of the service. A good place to unwind after an intense war. Good island for therapy, Plus you don't have to buy any guns; no one is armed and the island population is carefully screened before anyone is allowed onto island.

  • wow these guys suck next time you drop cash like that on a surf trip you should actually have learned how to surf.....if they let kooks like you on the boat i might cancel my reservation for Aug.......learn to surf before you clog up the line-up if i was there you would never have gottin a wave....KOOKS

  • That guy with the scar must have really big muscles.

  • I am sure none of you would have gone if you had the Money or an invitation. I'm sensing a little jealousy along with my own.

  • for $10,000 a person 10 person minimim (you do the math for a 10 day charter), i hope they are giving back to the locals which we know they aren't only detroying it like they did Indonesia.

  • Bunch of BS, I have been surfing the Marshall Islands since 2000, most of the spots Martin Daly says he found I've been there already. Such as "Chuckies" on Airok atoll it's not called that, just ask a local & they will tell you the name, F-You Indies Trader , leave my Islands alone

  • We know who you are and since when can an American call this place mine? Throw out good energy and it will come back in spades-or the inverse. Be a happier person- think noble thoughts. easy to say these things behind a screen of anonymity on a blog but what are you really going to say when you are face to face-pretty immature stuff.

  • Bunch of BS, I have been surfing the Marshall Islands since 2000, most of the spots Martin Daly says he found I've been there already. Such as "Chuckies" on Airok atoll it's not called that, just ask a local & they will tel you the name

  • Your the same guy thaty approached Daly for a job as a surf guide offering to show him all the spots only problem is you are off the mark do not know what you are talking about and the sort of instant local expat kook that abounds throughout the third world. married to a local girl living in the USA gives you the right to anonymously throw barbs at someone surfing a place you have absolutely no clue where it is and then you complain about exposure

  • Nope not me , never met the guy nore care to , as I mentioned before I don't do business with Aussies, only Rimajol. You guys can dream all you want , I've been to ailinglaplap specifically airok , been to namu (nice heavy wave there huh?)been to every atoll on the Ratak chain 3 times over , I own land on 3 differnt atolls. When I go to outer island I go as a local on a boat not on a plane or multimillion dollar boat.

  • As I told Martin don't ever question my integrity about the Marshalls again. Do your homework & you would have known that when you own land in the RMI you own not only the land but the reef systems 5 miles off of the land. When the place opens up it's going to be another Mentawai wave rights issue & you guys will be unemployed.

  • In the case of Airok, this is my friends family island maybe you heard of them "LANDRIK" YOU'LL BE WATCHING ME SURF 5 miles away with a pair of binoculars .You want detailed directions to the other 17 spots I've surfed?

    Your Rimajol Legend

  • Locals don't surf.

  • both my nephews are locals and they surf , left 2 boards behind on my 1st trip in 2000

  • Great, your family represent .1% of the Marshallese population.

  • qwe bwe bwe

  • daring stuff... reef wipe outs suck! miss da islands! nice vid!

  • Beautiful place!Amazing waves..

But you don t need such a big boat, something that would cost you thousands of dollars and would spend some much gas, polluting more our oceans..

That s not the spirit of soul surf.

Surf is pureness,is being part of the ocean causing no harm ...it cannot be related to consumerism and pollution.

  • bullshit...

    on topic, great stuff !:)

  • I agree with HenriqueHedler, I found the same waves if not more with my own 2 feet without consumerism and pollution involved

  • was this trip expensive for you guys?

  • we were aboard the Indies Trader 4 which is a large boat specially equipped for surf trips and, yes, it was expensive relative to what we normally charter

    thanks for the question

    Kim
