  • Not every Black boy fails in school!. Just to tell all the racists.

  • Respect to the year 13 boy!!! May we be able to oprotect these children, so help us God

  • The arrogance of these teachers and pupils astonishes me. Only a person who is fooled by this white system that we live in would believe in this story that tells us that "if we study hard we will succeed"; a story that is only true if you are white and privileged. Intergration within the white man's system will never bring change to this miserable condition in which we are in today. We need to determine our own destiny, not as individuals (as this documentary promotes) but as a people.

  • i know this video is serious but i found it funny when tht kid goes my mum came to this country and worked very hard and now she's a hairdresser lol come on any chick can be a hairdresser.

  • black boys of african decent are doing better than all races of boys put togther its afro carribean boys that are struggling.

  • This isn't so much a black issue but a universal truth that you have to take responsibility for yourself. Nobody owes you anything. I am a school teacher and am not a big fan of 'civilisation ' let alone the school system. The cause of percieved black failure is that they are not naturally inclined to obey, to be respectful or to cooperate. that isn't necessarily a bad thing, however this crazy world makes demands of us, and that is why blacks will continue to 'fail'.

  • @rivershoe "The cause of percieved black failure is that they are not naturally inclined to obey, to be respectful or to cooperate"

Which is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a while. And you're a school teacher with these kind of ideas?

  • @AfricansArise I have taught thousands of Kids, after a while you realize that it would be cruel to challenge them on their behaviour. You have to accept them for what they are, no more or less than anybody else but in many ways very different.

  • @AfricansArise It is hard work raising kids, the kids in our school don't sleep all night. They are either on the street or playing video games. They have absoultely no respect for other human beings or property. I celebrate the fact that I will not for much longer have to endure such depravity. If you want your people to arise tell them to take care of their kids, tell them to dedicate their lives to that noble end. Society is an abstract concept as the idea of a government.

  • @rivershoe Blacks live in complete fantasy where others owe them something .Nothing can hold you down if you take responsibility for yourself. Rely on yourself, believe in your self, nigger its is all that any of us have or have ever had.

    peace

  • @rivershoe Ah, how did i not realise the trollness. My bad

  • its kind of teaching them the wrong thing in a way, like: get grades = college = job = money. thats a really narrow way of thinking of success, you could look at it two ways, what would you rather, money or happiness

  • very good documentary, the guy in the red top is inspirational i hope he goes far in life =) AND every other black boy

  • I love my sun beyond mere words. That being said thanks for giving me MORE info, and confirming some strategies I planned on using. It comes down to what the 13 year old in the red sweater said ...Conforming. Can I get my son to conform without compromising his manhood?

  • I totally cosign on that. Though I didn't grow up in a large city my cousins have been part of initiatives like this. Most of them from broken homes and even though they made it to sixth form none of them finished university or got a high level job. We should go to the source but the question is how though?

  • Even though this seems to work, we need to question why these children need to be segregated from the rest of the students. I wasn't and neither were a number of my successful friends. London and inner city urban ghettos are poison. Black parents need to take responsibility for their off spring because the system won't and shouldn't.

  • Yeah, we can't leave it to schools to raise our children. For me, I think these things - though successful - are really just band aids trying to sort out fractured bones. It is about the lack of a strong community ethos among our people which begins at from a breakdown of strong family values.

  • Great documentary! Thanks AfricansArise!

  • 5 stars. never see that here!

  • I love it. At long last our people coming up with solutions for our problems. God bless you all.
