You're right. The problems that Mexico has (it is not a "piece of shit," but is a beautiful country) are not due solely to Jane Harman. She is merely taking advantage of a poor country with sell-out leadership.

Martinez attempt to cover up for Jane Harman is laughable. The Los Angeles Times reports, Oct. 10, on a typical job at Sony that is 6-days a week and pays $68 per week. If Harman was paying $9 - 15 an hour, there would be a line of applicants for blocks down the street.
Jane Harman's family founded the corporation and is the largest shareholder.
If Martinez is so proud of this "model" company, how about opening its doors to impartial observers from Human Rights Watch?

The streaming tape video about the Harman facility in Tijuana is false, dishonest and misleading.
Harman International is a highly respected public company, listed on the New York Stock Exchange and a member of the S&P 500. It is not, as suggested, a family-owned enterprise and Mrs. Jane Harman is not an employee, an officer nor a board member.
