  • I love it and listened that on and on also by that time. Bought also a new LP copy of it for twenty years ago. It never gets me bored. All the solos are wonderful. Thank you!

  • @tahidor

I listened to this in High School in the 50's on KWBR. Disk Jockey was "Jumpin George" Oxford and he played it about once a week in that period. I'll never forget it. I bought the "Long Play" and wore it out! Great sound. Thanks

  • Thank you for this song, it was one of my mom's all time favorites and this brings back pleasant memories of when she was with me on this rock.

  • One of the great Jazz recordings of the 50s. Don't forget the B side, They really do a great job on Robbins Nest. Wonderful stuff. Thanks for the post. Technically, the recording itself is impecible.

  • You're welcome, Jim275-san!!

I uploaded "Robbins' Nest" too at the same time this track.

  • It's nice to hear Charlie Fowlkes on his maybe longest solo. I only wished Buck had selected a trombone player that could keep up with Urbie Green, e. g. Lawrence Brown or Jack Teagarden. Thanks for posting.
