Yeah I saw that also. I wondered that myself. I think that little thing is to get the very ending to the boss directly without having to go through the whole game but instead takes you directly to the very last boss.

Haha, I actually just beat it again for the first time since I was young and realized what the "password" is. It seems like measurements for the princess (bust 88cm, waist 58cm, hips 90cm). Why Capcom felt it was necessary to tell us Princess Prin Prin had some bangin' curves, I'll never know.
