Honestly, I do not know who wouldn't want a keyboard option, digital is fine for texting but for anything longer it is just frustrating. This is awesome, however, if I was going this route I would just go for a slim notebook, why pay the same price and loose out on the processing speed and data storage?

Looks like a great folio case with keyboard, but the price is kinda high. I've seen other cases do the same thing with a little more functionality go for $70. What's the difference between the Adonit Writer 2 and the Plus version?

That is a nice looking case! Even though I am pretty good at doing touch-typing on the iPad 2's on-screen keyboard, I still think a physical keyboard is still a very viable option for a device like this. It also makes the iPad 2 look like a laptop!

Good review Lamarr :) I think that is a very nice product. I think that it is not a product for everyone, it is more like a product for people who like to us their iPad like a Laptop e.g. reporters or reviewers on CES. But t is still a very nice product and i think it is worth the money :)

Very nice review. I like the idea but it would make no sense for me. I have a MacBook Pro for lots of typing, the iPad is supposed to be my light surf and play machine with some typing. Having said that if I only had a desktop or no computer at all this little guy would turn my iPad into a cheap light laptop.

If it came with a hard shell cover for the back of the ipad I might consider it. It does look good and will be keeping an eye on it when I decide to buy a cover for my ipad.

Honestly this is just kinda stupid to me. The tablet itself is as big as a laptop almost, and then adding a keyboard to it makes it even more so like a laptop. WHY DOES EVERYONE LIKE TABLETS SO MUCH?? I'd much rather have a laptop considering how much more you can do on it...
