  • @ScorpioBornIn69 -EVERYTHING FROM 1965 ONWARD IS GARBAGE. COMPLETE TRASH. (you gotta dig for the good stuff)

  • @noodlesmealey Wow. How far back are we going to find any good Coke commerical? Anything before 1965? I was born in 1969! They made many good ones later in the '60s and '70s and some in the '80s. The best one I remember when I was a young boy was the one that came out in the early '70s when they did a commerical in Italy with people from every nation. That was the best Coke commerical ever made. You talk about trash, look what's been airing the past 20 years!!

  • one of the very few people that actually liked new coke. then they went to the old forumla called it "classic" and marketed the new stuff as "coke II"

maybe they should bring back the "classic" brand and put REAL SUGAR in it unlike the corn syrup in coke now.

  • the 80's were great :] i wish i lived in the 80's ><

  • the special effects of the time make it look like a ytp

  • The 90's were the best.

  • @iSquishy89 Excuse me?!?!?!

  • JIM CARREY "THE MASK"

This was the inspiration, I guess :D

    _YANA_

  • way better than the crap on today. reality tv isnt even real reality.

  • The early strike

  • The 80's had character, everything is now all the same garbage....

  • @jimspinnin The 80's had "character", but the 90's was the best for T.V. and movies. Of course, the 80's set the stage for the 90's so........

  • @jimspinnin I agree. They also had to work harder in making video clips that stood out in those days, but the hard work paid off. Nowadays they have computers that can do special effects, but the people behind them are lazy s**ts producing trash. - daz in oz

  • @skrimps99 - You grew up in the emo generation...used to be you just slapped a whiny kid, told him to cowboy the fuck up and drive on, and that was that.

  • @skrimps99 I like ur honest comment :)))))))

I mean it, everyone can have their own opinion :)

  • @skrimps99 Who the heck says dinosaurs are you from the 80s LOL

  • @skrimps99

"I'm too old to know everything"-Oscar Wilde........youth is wasted on the young......

  • @skrimps99 I'm sad that you're my age.

  • @skrimps99 I'm guessing you're just an 11 year old kid who knows nothing about true culture like it use to be, now instead you grew up with a crappy environment: Tv Re runs, Justin Beiber, etc. So check yourself before you wanna talk shit about an era you never even lived in jackass.

  • @skrimps99 Dumbass loser kid with no life.

  • @skrimps99 If you were there you wouldn't know what was coming in the future so you wouldn't think their hair looked like shit.

  • @skrimps99 Sorry kid but you grew up really late in the timeline, also in a really crappy time Im only 26 and I know that... you were born so late that you actually can't even understand real music, which also means you lack imaginiation.. and you should know by now if it weren't for the 80s you wouldn't have any of the cheap techno they copy and mix into crap.. artists today aren't original its all manufactured shit.. Back in the 80s it was about the "art of music"

  • its time we brought Max BACK!

  • So nowdays we get rappers.

  • max headroom was creepy. i didn't like him.

  • Wonderfully strange commercial.

  • He was in Supernatural as the Horseman Pestilence tonight. It was cool seeing him again.

  • Not even Max Headroom could save 'new Coke'!

  • No wonder people like coke better..

  • I miss the catch the wave slogan.

  • REMIX!

  • They'll both kill ya....

  • I never think that censure will take over the Youtube! They are not letting anyone see any video from MAX HEADROOM

  • New Coke is very much like the Edsel, in which it wasn't really that bad itself, but met poor circumstances due to nearsightedness. If both would have been marketed strategically, we would still be driving Edsels, and we would be drinking New Coke.

  • Wasn't Max Headroom the same guy that played the dad of the neighbors in Honey I Shrunk The Kids?

  • Yup!

  • And the villain that The Comedian balls his eyes out to in Watchmen.

  • They actually had taste tests based on this. Steve44070 posted a commercial in which Max Headroom does his same opening monologue, then the announcer talks about a taste test being done at Rolling Acres Mall in Akron.

  • I actually did one when I was about 13 at a water park. I thought I got it right for sure! I lost. It was a big disappointment for me. haha
