  • At 0.32 Fire is in-dweller of the water. Now we all know water consist with Hydrogen & Oxygen . Both are related to Fire. Vedas says Fire is in water. But before Science we could not interpret well.Because our knowledge was limited.

  • @ynrldh

same deal with vimanas, now that we know they were modern day aircrafts. agniastras- they were SAM (surface to Air missiles). Nagastras- biological weapons. Brahmastras- nuclear/ atomic weapons.

  • There is primeval and eternal quality in the sounds and the chant that resonate deep within me.

    Thanks.

  • the epithet of Kubera is Vaishravana and not Vaishrava as in the translation

  • Thank you so much...it is a great help for people like us who does not know hindi or sanskrit

  • This manthra is my daily prayer. EVery morning iam chanting the manthras before commencing day to day work.It gives me peace of mindI respect you.----Ponnambalam

  • thanks for uploading and for english traslation...

  • TheThe forces in nature-the wind, rain etc are very powerful and unpredictable effecting the environment in the world so respected and believed to be the power of god..man is still trying to master the natural forcesd and clamities-the earthquake, tusami etc..pondered over since Vedic times

  • actually your date was wrong.....the vedas were never written by anyone and its eternal.....veda vyasa just collected them and recorded them in written form......he recorded it in a book and categorized them as rig, yajur, sama atharva veda in 30++ bc.....

  • @sukanth2 Ved Vyas existed around 3200 B.C. the "1500-1000 BC" dates are mere hypothetical dates given by 19th century Europeans... You are 100% right about the eternal aspect of the Vedas.

  • The Apo or apas means the clear water of pure consciousness, which is the indwelling spirit in the whole universe. This is what we are in truth and seeing the truth one becomes the Indwelling spirit.

  • Beautiful. This mantra is one of my favorite mantra, I'll be eagerly waiting to hear all the priests and devotees chant together this mantra after every pooja. I feel God's grace pouring on me when I hear this mantram. Do u happen to have the 'shankaraya mangalam' mantra/song? I been searching for it. :)

  • What was that document in the beginning? The one with the central character and the circles of inscriptions around it? thanks

  • @momothebored

    Actually I do not know.

I think it depcits a circles of various mantra's that culminate into the "AUM" mantra the core sound.. the root mantra at its centre

I chose it since the mantra pushpam is considered one close to the root mantra!

    Best regards

    Ramesh

  • @momothebored... Thats the Sri chakram..symbolically depicting the cycles.

  • A Gigantic thanks for up loading this video and english titles are simply superb.

  • This is beautiful, poetic, and inspiring. It touches my heart. I've been listening to it every night. Thank you!

  • super.......work.....

  • Excellent. Out of this world. Thanks a ton. What a bliss listening to the mantra pushpam. Where can I get Ramaraksha with similar rendition?

  • nice

  • Excellent video with good translation. I have heard the mantra pushpam several times and I also have learnt to chant it from my father, but only now am I comprehending its meaning. Jai Veda Mata!!

  • Well we all agree this is great, 99.9% of the devotees in the temple including me are very ignorant of the prayer by priests. However to claim all this vedic knowledge as the current Hinduism as practiced is extremely foolish and laughable. We are seeking the lineage of the richness of these scripts, we are not practicising.

  • Good work. However, "Veda" is normally understood to mean "Knowledge" a subtle and fundamental diffrence.

People that claime to know the "Truth" end up as fanatics.

  • I agree with you. But my undestanding of the vedic interpretation of Knowledge is to gain understanding about the true self... in this case the "in-dweller". I thought the key message in the mantra is " look inside... all are interconnected.".... that is the truth.. ( not just knowledge" Hope you agree!

    Ramesh Krishnakumar

  • @nrkkvsnlcom Yes Sir. Thank you again.

  • @LambrettaFunk You are right however knowledge cannot exist without truth, the Vedas are also the truth.
