Doesnt matter if this film was an adaption of another. its still a great crime movie and deserved its win at the oscars. those who say leo shouldve been nominated, he and the studio didnt want for him to be nominated because of the great cast of supporting actors. he thought that it would mean his performance was above the others... which i thought was one of his best performances ever! just tells what a great guy leo is..which is rare for actors in hollywood these days..
