also a smart move because there aren't to many hardcore rpg games out for the wii, wait, would you call monster hunter an rpg because it feels like an online expierience simply about upgrading weapons and going on quests until you find yourself fighting and killing some of the most badass monsters around.
problem wtih nintendo is they change their platform way too often leaving your systems obsolete ..i mean you can take some games u have from ps1 back in 1994 and it'll work on a brand new ps3 system 16 years later..and in 16 or 17 years theirs only been 3 platforms for playstation where has nintendo has had like 6

Just picked up wario ware DIY and honestly, why the hell take so much effort to enter a friend code, wait for ur friend to enter a code and then all that work for just sharing games? its so pointless. should be like an online server you can upload and anyone can download.
The thing i hate about this game is that its really unpopular where i live, i have played all of the psp games and iv tried to get my friends hooked but they find it too hard, hopefully the wii versian will be more n00b friendly

I don't see any problem with it being on the Wii, its about time the wii had a hit title that wasn't based of char from 20 years ago. I think the only reason I would really harp on the fact that its not on the PS3 is that future MH titles will still be coming out on the PSP and to see some type of colaboration between a PS3 and PSP Monster Hunter would be awsome. Otherwise I think this will be just fine. Heck use MH fans had a fit when it left the PS2 and went on PSP I think we can manage again.

now some are gonna ask how its a great game? one of my freinds exported the japanese version. i tried it with the wii-mote and even with the CC pro(thats right). both controls are great but CC is more comfortable i might go as far as to say that these are the best controls in the series.

Demon's souls is a ps3 exclusive, truly hardcore, with infinite replay value and amazing unique online features.
Play demon souls, you wont regret.
Capcom took the lazy and greedy way out and released on the wii, using old gen assets so it could be cheaper, since they knew they already had guarantee buyer on japan.

Aparantly it was to expensive for PS3, so they actually USED Wii to sell some copies first, to make money and then produce a way better game of it for PS3, MH for PS3 is gnna be 2 times bigger cuz they can put more items on the disk, apparantly the Wii console cant handle that.
I do agree that putting it on the Wii isn't the best of ideas, but I won'y denounce my loyalty to MH because of it. I'll still buy and beat the game, but I would honestly much prefer it on the PS3.
One of the biggest reasons is the controller. It's not what we're used to so it might be a little awkward. And I don't have very high expectations for motion control on a MH game.
My other reason is that the online mode for Wii games is extremely laggy, and the PS3 is extremely smooth.
Only one Wii game lags and thats SSBB. You need either a lan adaptor or get a faster connection. so don't blame the wii. blame yourself for the slow connection

I don't understand why they didnt make this for ps3...it would be better in every way. It's not like the nunchuk-wiimote gimmick will add anything, people will most likely just use gamecube controllers.
It was too expensive. And the Motion control Will add real-time swing; if you swing slow, the player swing slow ; if the play swing fast, the character swing fast. That also mean it can (potentially) add in parry and counter parry

Aparantly it was to expensive for PS3, so they actually USED Wii to sell some copies first, to make money and then produce a way better game of it for PS3, MH for PS3 is gnna be 2 times bigger cuz they can put more items on the disk, apparantly the Wii console cant handle that.

I do agree that putting it on the Wii isn't the best of ideas, but I won'y denounce my loyalty to MH because of it. I'll still buy and beat the game, but I would honestly much prefer it on the PS3.
One of the biggest reasons is the controller. It's not what we're used to so it might be a little awkward. And I don't have very high expectations for motion control on a MH game.
My other reason is that the online mode for Wii games is extremely laggy, and the PS3 is extremely smooth.

Only one Wii game lags and thats SSBB. You need either a lan adaptor or get a faster connection. so don't blame the wii. blame yourself for the slow connection

okay. seriously i know the wii is awesome but think about xbox360. Many people moved from ps2 to xbox simply because ps3 was so exspensive and im sure many people moving to xbox 360 played MH so why not make it for the xbox

morons, if u compare the consoles the PS3 is actually the cheapest... it has a blueray DVD player wich costs 300 euro's apart, u know! MH for Xbox is a pretty good idea, but i cant see the use of using 3 different online servers for each console, wich they to keep up!. and the 360 breakes to easy to keep up with PS3.

I don't understand why they didnt make this for ps3...it would be better in every way. It's not like the nunchuk-wiimote gimmick will add anything, people will most likely just use gamecube controllers.

It was too expensive. And the Motion control Will add real-time swing; if you swing slow, the player swing slow ; if the play swing fast, the character swing fast. That also mean it can (potentially) add in parry and counter parry

A fair word for all.PS3:Awesome graphics Xbox360:Lots of applications.Wii:Fun for the family.The ironic thing of ppl is that they didn't try a certain console and they say it sucks.PS3,Xbox,Wii all have their own unique features and weaknesses.What I like about Wii is that you can actually be part of the action.What I dont like is the controls and the price.PS3 have intense graphics and gameplay,though there are multiplayer,single player is still better.Xbox is like more meant for multi player.
