you usually take it out while you sing. That is an old trick people use before they sing....a lot of performers have someone they give it do right when they walk on.
I love the guitar in the song, and yes, onedimpledcheek, she is so lovable. her voice is so amazing in this song. REngland77, thanks for getting this on video. I was so sad that I couldn't go to this concert - I'm from Seattle and I didn't know she was going to be at the Crocodile until it was sold out! How sad!

I still remember them playing in their basement and pretending to be monsters to make me laugh :) It's great to see them doing what they love.

I have noticed the gum too. Must be a nervous habit. If there is one thing you don't see a singer do very much...it's chew gum.
