  • Despite the unfortunate sound quality, the essence of this piece is excellently delivered in not the most ideal of conditions. The errors are infinitely forgiven - if any!

The piano, playing the chembalo part is off screen. If it is live, it is excellent. If it is a midi-sequence then the quartet show excellent time keeping - and so ingrained musicality. The cello part played played by viola(think) does a great job too.

A really nice "feel" comes across from all players

    Full Marks to ALL !

  • OMG Bach's statue!!!! if i can play music under this statue one time in life,i think my life is enough

  • AMAZING. I LOVE YOUUUU

  • aaa

  • how old are they??????!!!!!!!

  • I am going to do something like this with either my Violin or Double Bass.

  • >> I Like This...

  • เพราะมากๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆครับ

  • It"s lovely to see the young performing such songs. Shameful the adults in the audience were not able to keep quiet.

  • Nice rhythm. :)

  • Fantastic job comsidering their age :) they may even have a chance of getting into a good music academy when their older..

  • this songs not hard to play, its just a basic round, but its stil my shit! gud job lil fags

  • I thinks it very nice to see and hear their style. Whose playing the piano?

  • thats rude that people are talking during the concert... it's beautiful i love it((: want to have this song to play at my wedding((:

  • This made my heart rise. It was so beautiful. It inspired me to want to start violin lessons!

  • it doesn't matter... as long as they sound good. i'm jealous of ppl like that. i was never able to get enough money for private lessons but managed to do good anyway. i feel i could've been better but its a waste now.

  • meh....they have the technique but are too young to display the right emotion in the song...not to mention they're fooling around stage, and why is the crowd talking during the performance?

  • LOL what dont u like that they sounded to good or what bro?

  • @jairo0892 something is wrong with you man

  • @jairo0892 Really? Are u serious? Those young people are playing perfectly!! The thing thats wrong is ur audio. If a violin wuz broken, u would know. Trust me.

  • BRAVO!!!

  • very talented, very beatuful, <3

  • <3 j'adore

  • sin duda es la mejor obra de pachebel..♥

  • amazing :) no words to say just amazing

  • Shame about the wind, spoiling it a bit, apart from that they are very talented!

  • What a way to start my day Thank you for the post The best to you all

    From Earl

  • All I see up on those stairs are four

beautiful people playing their hearts out to put some joy in peoples lives.

Just sit back, and enjoy their music.

I also think they are very talented

    people, and I appreciate them.

There is just too much negativity

    in this world.

    John

  • Too bad the mike picks up the spectators as well as it does the instruments. That, plus the wind, does a lotta harm to a beautiful performance.

  • Beautiful job! = )

  • Maybe a bit too slow.

  • Canon..4 violins. 1 Piano????

Lol Sounded good though. I think I like the original arrangment with Cello, 2 violins, and a viola/violin better though. :D

  • coollll!!~~~!!

  • Azns ftw!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I play this song and Im in 6th grade.

  • crap that's good. I have to play cello quite often in public too like at church and talent shows. That was just amazing though it sounded professional!! :D

  • i have 4 sibilings and we all play the viloin ^^ they are good... we had to do the simiular stuff in public lol

  • How old are u they? They look young.. espicially the second girl on the right.. the one in pink^^ Working at such a young age~ T_T

  • well that's not true for all asians though, && there are people from other cultures who push their kids hard as well.

these sorts of assumptions aren't accurate, especially since you don't know these performers. =/

[and they weren't working, they were performing!]

  • well its good because at least they have skills in their life unlike some people, my kids have 2 play instruments just like me, trus me that is the life!!

  • this comment is so not true! And actually it's sort of racist....even if their parents do push them to work harder it's to get them a better life later on in the future and have better careers! And actually they do have lives sometimes even better than A LOT of people! And FYI the "lol" at the end you may think it's funny, but no one else does!

  • FAAAAALSE.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but some Asians, I do admit...have no lives. But no, NOT all. Some are extremely talented at what they do, yet they are very social. Some are not talented at almost anything, but are social. Some are very talented at what they do, but not social. Some aren't talented and not social.

There are extremes in every race.

Asians just tend to be more hardworking, since that's how our parents were raised, and therefore, they influence us.

  • Arguing on youtube is symptomatic of having no life. But that's all cool. Just because I'm not social doesn't mean YOU'RE not social.

  • Bahah chilll;

I'm just stating an opinion that I feel very strongly about, k?

  • asian pride! wow how old are these kids :) i have an older brother that plays violin. younger sister on violin. and i am 13 and play cello. we need ONE more kid i recon for a quartet >:]

  • Maybe someone on the viola would do your quartet some good^^

  • asian power weeeeeeeee

  • I give u 5*...

  • It's a shame that beautiful music was spoiled with the voices talking!!! how rude of them to talk while such a pretty performance was happening...amazing. <3

  • Well they were hired so this wasn't one of there featured pieces, i presume.

A quartet is mainly there to provide a background for the setting.

  • well it is hard to make a whole park shut up, especially Bryant Park

  • Genius, nice :"3

  • Well Done! I enjoyed listening.

  • congratulation......this was beautiful

  • They are superb! Wish all the background chatter would die down!

  • was it just me but at 0.38 and a few parts later I thought I heard screeching. But at whole it's nice. XD~

  • lol i havent seen 1 mexican violin player in my life..

  • well you know...there are mariachis somewhere XD

  • I love to hear these kids play Canon they are just great

  • Have you heard the Canon D on Pump it Up? Youtube it. XP

  • Great work these kids are something

  • this is excellent, would you mind telling me where you got the piano and violin sheet music? i want to do this piece with my friends for a competition. :)

  • Are any of them related?

  • Check out rest of my videos.

Shouldn't be too hard to find out.

  • Were you all students of Ms. Sharon Roffman? Please let me know. Thanks.

  • No, they were part of a violin group directed by Sharon's mother, Dorothy Roffman.

  • That is fantastic!! It is a small world. That is nice to know. Please tell her that her daughter taught me how to read music at Kean University Fall of 2006 and Spring of 2007.

  • Forgive me for being dumb, but where is the pianist situated in this? The movement didnt seem to flow with the music either?

  • The pianist was sitting off stage on Jeffrey's side. We wanted to record further back to include the pianist but found hard to hear the violins if so.

In our 2008 Bryant Park performance, we did request to placed the piano on the stage. Thus, you shall have no trouble to find the piano and forehead of the pianist. :)

  • @snoopydc it did but maybe u dont play the violin so u wouldnt know XP n plus their kids! XP

  • No Viola's all Violin's

  • Violas?? x[

  • yes how cah those people speak that loud instead listening this fantastic performence??

  • nice :D

  • where do the bass notes come from?

  • wow they can play this good at that age

  • It was wonderful on e score...

But the position of standing of the little girl is wrong..

  • Too much shuffling and talking... I wanted to listen to them they're so good!

  • incredible...

how can anybody in the world not stand still and listen to this great performance! kids, u're amazing!

  • omg so beautiful i been playin 10 years and still aint as good as you kids ....awesome job

  • /Add to favorites! :)

  • That was GREAT how do they learn like that all synchro and all??

I want to play violin like that!!

  • practice and start timing

  • there amazing its just i've never been a fan of canon when its slurred (in my opinion) though they pull it off great :)

  • AMAZING!

  • wow this is really good =)))

  • it could it be better if they played it a little bit slowly anyway great ^-^

  • Beautiful!...and such young violinists, impressive:)

  • I loved violin so much.. but i don't play. Damage such. Sound of fiddle is such wonderful, full of magic.. ;]

  • In the background sound its like 2 Mexicans are arguing over some food or something.

  • Which city?

  • veryy cool video and nic ethan :)

  • the sound at first doesn't sound good but at the middle till end it sounded nice to me

  • well......when i heard the sound of violin.....i remember that song with canon in D major. I haven't start play violin yet.....but i heard those who played violin, my heart will be quiet for a moment. And now, i wish i can start play violin because if we don't play any musical intrument like this, we will lost the chance.....for those age 12-19 should play now, if don't will lost this chance forever. now i trying to tell my parents to let me play violin ^^. Thank you guys let me rock up!

  • nah, If someone really wants to learn something, they'll do it. The first time I heard this piece on violin, time stopped for me. I then went out and bought a violin. A real cheap one, downloaded the sheet music, and learned it in less than a month. I then learned it on piano, and guitar. Thats how determined I was to play. So if you really put your mind and devotion to it, You'll do it.

  • ITS TRUE XD!!!

  • this is beautiful. i used to play violin when i was younger, but i gave it up for selfish reasons. i wish i never did. i love the violin. its an amazing instrument. very well played.

  • Wow. Amazing. Very well done!

  • well violin is an instrument that is hard to play but once you learn how to play it is worth it.if you have classes in few months time you can play it well if you have passion,it is hard to teach yourself believe me i thought i could teach myself so easily but it's hard so we hired a trainer/teacher...

  • well you have to have the patience and the mind to beable to play this song nice and good....like when you are all excited and hype it will sound like shit....but when you are calm and quiet itll sound pretty.

  • Wow! those kids are amazing! i love this song with a passion. What a great group of children!

  • this is like i think played wif the original instruments

  • hay watch yourself, cuz ima bout to go all asian on cha!

  • The kids did an excellent job but the crappy audio (wind, talking, coughing) totally ruined the video. fangruchang, all your vids are recorded outside - WHY?!?

  • How old are you?

  • very well done for their age, i'v been playing violin for about 9 years now

  • is it hard to play a violin??

  • yea.. when you first start it sounds like shit.. and ive been playing for 4 years now and sadly.. i still sound like shit.. haha

  • depends. if u play piano or another stringed instrument its easy.

  • true true once i tried it i was like wow its hella easy i thought it was hard XD

  • Yaay Naruto!!!! Jariaya dies :( and so does Itachi :(

  • Well, in my opinion is it in the beginning very hard, cause you have to learned. In that period, it sounds awful. A few years later it begin to sound better and better, you get more plaisur to play and its a lot easyer to improve your play.

  • nope

  • Acualy this is the tempo they are doing is the just the right speed. I know this because my middle school class is going to be performing this song at the 22nd. One more thing, they need a cello in this to make it to make it sound better.

  • Very talented kids! Just the way they moove makes them look really proffesionall! Beautiful performance:)

  • lmaoo i wish the ppl would shutup lol

  • theyre so lucky. id love to play violin but theyre so expensive.

  • Nice Nice n_n

  • Beautiful! :-) A new fav of mine!

  • the only thing its missing is a good cello. very good though with the vibrato.

  • donde está el piano?????

  • i don't think they'd want to bring a piano out there...

  • donde está el piano?????

  • i dunno man i hear it but cant find it

  • I do not understand you have to say, please place it in simple English

  • el dice "no se"

  • el piano es una grabación

  • Magnifique !

  • ....i hear piano. ahah where is it?

  • i always thought violins sounded better in groups rather then alone this just enforces it. bravo bravo clap clap clap

  • are they chinese?

  • wow

  • Damn!!! They even got the vibrato down. That takes time too!!! Wow.

  • maybe the kids are pretending to play and it is just a recording in the background (just kidding)

  • ... LOL and that's why i don't like windy days! ^_~ hehe

  • wow!! that was amazing!! =]

  • wow...beautiful performance. seeing this just makes me want to get my kids involved in music

  • lol yeah i dont see the piano, is it a recording? but its wonderfully played ^_^

  • how about all you people talking at these childrens amazing performance shut the hell up..just an idea ;)

  • how about you dont be such a kill joy :) just an idea ;)

those children are talented and i bet you dont even know how to hold a violin properly so i dont think you are in any position to give the abuse you did!

  • no no i'm not talking about the chidren at all! I am talking about the people talking in the backround at their performance. They are amazing at playing the violin, and no I don't know how to play the violin!!
