  • yes id bite these with enjoyment

  • could always just download the .iso file and load it in the virtualbox machine rather than a usb if you can help it, that made it easier for me to add liinux distros to the virtualbox setup and make as many as i wanted.

  • Haha the last few seconds were the best part.

  • Once again, booting a usb drive in VirtualBox doesn't have to be that "complicated".

Just boot the PloP-iso and select USB,PloP will boot the usb drive, even without BIOS support.

    Just a quick tip.

  • @jesuswasblack00 it's pc/vm/etc... With vulnerabilities that it is put there on purpose to make an attacker believe the target is vulnerable thus you being able to catch the attacker. Look for it on google

  • Bite me? Realy? ;)

  • u sooo fluffy...

  • Umm... I'm gonna feel like a noob but what's a honeypot?

  • @jesuswasblack00

A honeypot is a system that resides on your network that appears to be vulnerable, however it is isolated from the sensitive areas of your internal network. In simple terms it is a "trap" that allows network/system administrators the ability to find out how hackers comprise their systems, which can be used to apply patches/fixes on production systems, so it doesn't happen when it matters most!

  • mew mew :3

  • Guys... you once showed a program which sniffs your network and tries to download any images from cameras and devices and such... does anyone remembers the name of it?

  • Thanks for the tips Snubs!

  • man she is hot... lol.. what she was taling about anyway??????

  • Shannon...you don't trust hackers not to hack your network?!?!?! I'm hurt! LOL

  • LINUX STUFF ONLY ! k thanks

  • @TheWindowsHack I love linux. However, given that most of the world still runs Windows, that would be just a little impractical don't ya think?

  • @djsting if you still want to mess with linux stuff and you are on windows use andlinux (hak5 last week)

  • @jackclark1981 I use virtualbox at home. The webserver I maintain at work is ubuntu server running apache. I know my way around linux and like it as an OS. I just think it's got a ways to go before it becomes a viable replacement to windows/mac in your average household.

  • @djsting

more people that become aware of linux the more people will use it. did you know most users dont even know what linux is. so promote it more, show interesting hacks and software ect... maybe one day we will get to the point where we kill off OS's from cooperation's just seeking money. lets face it windows is a waste of time, *unix all the way.

  • @TheWindowsHack I agree that many are still in the dark about linux.I would disagree that a majority of those people watch hak5. Like I told another user, Linux is a great OS but there can be a steep learning curve. It has a little ways to go before it's a viable OS in the average household. Also, Hak5 isn't about promoting an OS. It's about learning various tips and tricks using the tools available. They use linux alot but ignoring windows is ignoring the rather large elephant in the room.

  • @djsting

ignore it and it will go away..... hopefully

  • Tig bits.

  • I don't think the text on that shirt was designed with a bevel.

  • If there is a god he would allow me to die and come back as her tshirt.

  • @iExD make sure to run as administrator prolly thinks its a virus for now and if that dont work try right clicking going to properties and running in windows compatibility mode

  • @tcpsolid I tried the run as admin, but I'll take the compatibility mode into consideration. Thank you!
