  • @Alomegasupreme I'm not lucky, I really don't care about that...

  • @Izzyjacksp Thanks. :D Your the first person whose said that. :)

  • Fuck PS Move, Kinect FTW!

  • @thecre8ter lol, MOVE owns kinext, but at least microsoft tried to do something more innovative, but no buttons? com'on! you cant do anything with no buttons! plus, i would rather have something to hold in my hand then pretending its there, kay? all in all, they just ripped off nintendo. no one can beat the innovation of ninty :)

  • @thecre8ter also, you have to admit, move has better and more intresting games than the kinect so far, i didnt see any game on the kinect i wanted. and what was up with the karate kid game? not everyone can kick their legs in the air like that, and what if you hit the TV and break it? LOL

  • @miketh2005 It's better than holding something

Although Microsoft and Sony both jumped into the Motion-Sensing wagon after Nintendo, Sony didn't change much. Microsoft came out with Kinect, with no need for controllers. Right now, they're even testing with finger tracking.

  • @Rightleftdud I'm not going to "pretend" there is something in my hands when there is not. We are not 4 yrs old anymore, that's just stupid and even more casual than the Wii, which at least had first party hardcore games, like Zelda, Metroid, etc. Sony has more hardcore games on the Move, and it did do a lot for the "genre" or whatever you call it, with the Eye camera, there are so much more possibilities and better tracking than even Motion Plus.

  • @miketh2005 So instead of "pretending" to stroke a digital cat, you would prefer to have the "realism" of stroking it with a stick-like object? Have you seen anything of Pranav Mistry's Sixth Sense technology? Would you rather have that but with sticks? How is "pretending" stupid? How is it for 4 yr olds? We all pretend, especially if you're a gamer. When playing COD, you pretend to know about close combat. So it can be argued that pretending further can be innovative and superior.

  • @Rightleftdud Your right, I would rather pet a cat that is not there with my own hands, but I'm not going to be petting stupid cats in CoD, Fable, Need For Speed, Forza, Zelda... you get the point. The point is, with Kinect and even Move, they tried Augmented Reality, which is stupid, because it's more pretending than anything. Rather, it's better if you not pretend buy IMAGINE yourself in another world entirely, a game world, and your controlling the hand that is in that world.

  • @miketh2005 In COD or Fable I'd rather use a controller than either Kinect or Move. I tried COD on the Wii, and it's just weird. As for racing games, I would prefer to "pretend" to hold a steering wheel, because (for me at least) it's more realistic than holding a cylindrical object as a wheel. With Zelda, I think I might use Kinect. I've never really played Zelda, except for many years ago on my Gamecube. As for imagining a game world, not everyone has such a vivid imagination.

  • @Rightleftdud For holding a sword, or bow and arrow like you do in Zelda, I would MUCH rather hold something than nothing. :/

  • @miketh2005 I think I'd like to pretend I'd have a real sword :)

I'm not saying the Move is utterly useless, so don't take me the wrong way. I would rather play Minecraft with the Move than with the Kinect. When Minecraft comes out for the Xbox (with Kinect support), I wonder what it's going to be like.

  • @Rightleftdud Yes, pretend you have a real sword, although you have nothing in your hand. Isn't it easier to pretend the controller is the handle of the sword than pretend the handle is there?

  • @miketh2005 My point being, imagination in video games is more fun, and I hope you can at least agree on that. The Move restricts imagination in a way in which Kinect does not.

  • @Rightleftdud And how does it restrict imagination?

  • @miketh2005 If I were to pretend a stick was a steering wheel it would be awkward for me as opposed to acting out the motions of a real steering wheel.

  • @Rightleftdud That's why they have steering wheels for the Wii and possibly Move. O.o

  • @miketh2005 Hah those steering wheels are awkward for me. I actually prefer to just hold the Wii controller opposed to the Wheel. (It should be called the Wiil lol get it?)

  • @Rightleftdud OMG, you're right! That would be an awesome name for it. lol

  • And it would be better than holding nothing, to me. :)
