I just read an AP article that said the bill that passed in the House is unacceptable to many in the Senate. Oh, God, I knew this was going to be an uphill battle. I anticipated that this would not be an easy bill to pass through the Senate and I was correct. I'm not going to be surprised if there's a lot of stalling involved in trying to get this bill passed.
So why do you think there will still be a war 50 years from now? It is because the situation over there is fucked. We need to stay there to clean it up or else.....300....500 years from now, the situation will still be fucked and we'll just be engage in another war. Except the problem arises where when someone goes to the hospital and gets treatment, and doesn't have insurance, the money has to come from somewhere right away. So who does it come from? The person getting that treatment will pay over time, but the immediately shoulder-bearing is on those paying for insurance already.
That's not very goddamn fair at all. Paying $20 a month is going to be cheaper than risking a fine in case something happens to you.
Insurance costs a lot more than $20 a month in total, what you're looking at is only how much it costs the buyer. The only way it could possibly be that low is if others pay for part of it, employers, or government.
To be fair comparison you would have to compare the costs 'we' pay through lost job opportunity and increased prices of goods when we push the rest of the burden on the employer.

I down loaded the bill last night and searched it by software for fine. Only a couple of times I found that word and it related to providers not to consumers. Where in the bill is this. I just read an AP article that said the bill that passed in the House is unacceptable to many in the Senate. Oh, God, I knew this was going to be an uphill battle. I anticipated that this would not be an easy bill to pass through the Senate and I was correct. I'm not going to be surprised if there's a lot of stalling involved in trying to get this bill passed.

Except the problem arises where when someone goes to the hospital and gets treatment, and doesn't have insurance, the money has to come from somewhere right away. So who does it come from? The person getting that treatment will pay over time, but the immediately shoulder-bearing is on those paying for insurance already.
That's not very goddamn fair at all. Paying $20 a month is going to be cheaper than risking a fine in case something happens to you.

Insurance costs a lot more than $20 a month in total, what you're looking at is only how much it costs the buyer. The only way it could possibly be that low is if others pay for part of it, employers, or government.
To be fair comparison you would have to compare the costs 'we' pay through lost job opportunity and increased prices of goods when we push the rest of the burden on the employer.

The problem is that Doctors and Hospitals think that they will loose their million dollar salaries and BMW's and multi million dollar condo's if they had to make it available to everyone. They are two utterly unrelated topics unless your nation is taking substantial damage to it's civilian population from an aggressor. But that sounds more like Iraq and Afghanistan not the US.

That is true, the nation is broke and has depended on the financial support provided by other nations buying our debt for decades.

Try staying on topic. The discussion wasn't about "bloated oversized government" until you hijacked and tried to redirect the conversation. Health Care provision is a private industry. Hospitals receive much in the way of Public financial support ALREADY! That doesn't make them agencies of government.

we dont get the vaccine because it has mercury and phemaldihide in it and the makers of the vaccine wont get it either so whats that tell you, just go back to trusting your goverment they wont hurt you or anything they have never done that this isnt just about health insurance its about controlling our lives, if we dont it its 15,000 bucks and or 5 years in jail how does that fucking help us

I down loaded the bill last night and searched it by software for fine. Only a couple of times I found that word and it related to providers not to consumers. Where in the bill is this. I would like to see for myself.I heard on the news something about a 500 dollar fine but could not find that in the bill either.This really was done in the open. Any one can easily get a copy of this bill.
