Great job on that all around! What other Martin acoustics do you like? The Martin D-18 Authentic is the King to my ears! Perfect all around. The D1GE bass is too woody to me & I just can't get into any of the modified V necks or even regular Vs but the thick Authentic neck is super nice. The Authentic almost seems to be a cross between the best mahogany and rosewood guitars... Still loud and defined but a little bit more gentle highs than a regular "good" D-18 with more bell-like, chimey highs.

I like a lot of different Martins. Each one is different and some are better than others. I've always had to play one a couple of times just to see if it hits the spot for me. I'm real happy with the 18A and I love my D28CW too. I had a D18GE before I bought the 18A but the 18A smoked the 18GE and it was a great guitar. I've recorded some with the 18A and it will give you goose bumps! Gotta love it! Take care, Kevin
