They don't have old film imperfections that you'd expect to see on a film from half a century ago, or the live pixels and occasional spots you'd expect to see in this kind of 16mm film print. "Joe" is the "Bob" logo for The Church of the Subgenius. The biggest giveaway is the porn shot at 2:34. Also, the two-arm logo at the end looks too weird for the 50's (what does it mean?). Finally, the Roman numeral date at the end, "MMDCCIV," is for the year 2704. Only the audio seems authentic.

I think the fallout shelter video is fake. An animation affect at the end, when the silhouette of the man woman gets a glow that grows and shrinks, looks algorithmic in nature. That kind of effect in hand-drawn animation amounts to a lot of work for little gain, but in software it's easy. The war and history clips are blocky, meaning that they were copied from other YouTube videos, whereas the art card shots are perfect.

Not bad, but what immediately tipped me off as this being a fake was #1, the description says its from 1953 yet the date on the film in the beginning read 1961. #2, Even if it was 1961, in the very beginning with the old truck driving off, you can see what appears to be a late 70's Thunderbird or Mercury Couger in the background.  Funny film though!
