  • Nice, off to see them at the Leadmill, Sheffield tomorrow

  • Hi,

Cool. Were they good? I'm off to see them again this Friday at the Forum, in London!

  • Saw them last night in Munich. Fantastic playing, I swear it sounds better than years ago...and the light show and screen animations, wonderful. Haven't enjoyed a gig so much in ages and there was only about two hundred of us! I'll have a cup of that tea too please!

  • Hi rus2y,

I've also been there and can completely confirm your comment.

Hey, but we 200 were in a very good mood together with the musicians :+))

And my personal compliment to Miquette :

You are a lovely lady (...and a phantastic keyboard player)

  • You're absolutely correct aharmbol, I'd rather have an intimate small gathering any day, I just hope the band got their fair share of the door takings.

We had double the pleasure that night with The Captain entertaining us all first and yes, keyboard wizardary or is that witchery?

  • This was my favorite song from the Angel Egg album. And to think that they performed it just last week. That's cool. Daevid still kickin after all these years

  • Yep, still going strong... And playing a UK tour in November (London Forum on 27th!)

  • I'll be there!!

  • Me too - see you there!

  • @HawkwindMaster What do you like more Hawkwind or Allen's Gong? For you, if you like Hawkwind, loving Gong is naturally a must? Viceversa? In my case, I prefer Allen's Gong but all the different Hawkwinds are very good and I really enjoy it (actually I have the whole discography), even the newer material (i.e. Blood of the Earth).

  • I like both very much - Gong appeal to the jazzier side of my psych tastes. But I was into 'The Wind' first, and have been to seen them live more times than Gong. But I really couldn't do without either of them in my life... Both are essential in anyones record collection!

  • Would you like some mushrooOoom teaaaaaaa?

  • Yes please, especially if you've got a pot brewing?
