  • i love your snare

  • I have seen your other vids and you seem to know how to tune birch, which is not easy to tune. But when you get it right, they sound the best.

Imo, birch toms are better tuned higher than other toms. Floor tom and bass drum is best very low.

  • overtuning breaks your drum heads quick lol if u overtune the heads will crack wicked easy

  • I love a set with a lot of ring, especially on the snare. If you plan on playing fast, a lot of ring isn't really a good thing, but I just think it sounds so much better than a dull thud

  • strange kit setup to say the least

  • @tecna64 yea the toms aren't weird cuz hes a lefty but the cymbals are

  • woah that kits sounds wonderful :D

  • I have this kit, same color and everything, and I have to say that its better than the starclassic IMO. at least for the music I play

  • Nice sound man!! I love them barking toms.. Cobham sounds great, i love the PHil Collins sounds too,,

  • After watching this video it makes me never want to play my Tama Superstars ever again! It's just not my style I guess.

  • I just hate that ride angle. DON´T NOW WHY!!!

    arrgghhh jeje :P

  • Weird setup you got there ( for me ), as I like to keep everything close, tight and compact.

I wouldnt like my ride up there and high like that, I'm having it low, partially over my floor tom.

  • i own that kit =DDDDD

  • Sweet finish ;)

  • Drums sound great, so does the room.

  • yeah the kit sounds nice but whats with ride,? haha!!! go read sabain's website about saken care of cymbals they tell you shouldnt have em like that! seriously

  • they are referring only to crash cymbals so that u can glance hit them.

  • what's Overtuning? can you explain me whats so special about it and what sound you get?

  • Overtunning is tune it tight, tune it until it produces ringing sound so it will sound terrible for someone but for me,it sounds good like Billy Cobham sound.

    that's it. Nothing more friend!!!

  • Ah okay thanks! I like the sound, but I prefer normal drum tuning.

BTW I just got my new drumkit. Tama Superstar Custom. :D

    IT TOTALLY ROCKS!!

(got it in blue metallic fade)

  • same arrggg.lill advice tune ur toms low trust me . :D

  • the drumset sounds awesome, great playing man , leftys rule!

  • this kit sounds wonderful... great tuning and nice playing... Billy Cobham rules... ;-)

  • Thanks sir.

  • Right! Billy influence me so much. U can notice it from the sound style of the drum and my playing stlye.

  • very nice :)

the drums sound great as well. How do you think the Superstar kits compare to the higher priced kits like the Starclassic and the Masters series from Pearl??

  • I have no idea sir. I never have a chance to play it.

Only a little bit taped at drum shop.

It seem to b sound warmer and a little bit longer decay.

Actually i love the sound of Pearl reference series.

(Denis Chamber's set) It was sound geat.

  • I think starclassic is warmer and have a little bit longer decay.

Actually i love Pearl reference series. They sound great.

  • nice cymbals hehe

  • A custom zildjian sir n zildjian oriental china

  • wow great sound dude it sounds like it is miced , you are good at tuning

  • Thks friend.
