  • Anything Can Happend by Souls Of Mischief ..A-Plus one hot producer

  • One word....Mystical.

  • To us diehard Winwoodians, this song was VERY popular.

No Idea why they have Shootout as the album cover for this song??

  • rock music to-day is in the tough place classical music reached after the 1920's...all the genius stuff is in the books and no one is going to surpass it..this is 2nd tier traffic and nothing to-day is up to this standard. read "the agony of modern music" by henry pleasants.

  • wind,,wind,wind,rain I;m afraid to say it.

  • Wasn't this on, John Barleycorn Must Die, from 1970?

  • @Beadbud5000 it was on low spark, my brother, released in 1971. It's still the coolest album cover of all time, in my humble opinion.

  • Forget about it

  • God damn! Love when the drums come in at 5:27 after the breakdown. Traffic is the shit, there's no denying it.

  • Any chance you could upload Hidden Treasure? There's a live version but no studio version :D

  • Yes the flute is gorgeous thanks to Chris Wood. However, Steve's stunning guitar playing is so utterly sublime that you could almost miss it.

  • What instrument makes that sound?

  • One of my favs from Traffic, just amazing. How cannot everyone see how wonderful it is.......

  • The song is haunting. It is from 'Low Spark of High Heeled Boys' but the picture is 'Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory'. Could someone please upload 'Rollright Stones' from that album? Thank you.

  • make me some rain..

  • you no ive heard people didnt like this album much there nuts i think its there best thanks for the video man

  • To speudo-intellectual for my taste, I don't like those at first sight deepgoing stuff that isn't deepgoing at all, it's just bullshit, ideal for the pretentious mediocre students of that time, to make them feel important and raisen above the mob

  • @Nightwithe That is kinda funny, as it seems more about a feeling...

  • "rainmaka RAINMAKAAA

    rainmakah rainmakaaaahhhh"

  • Pure magic!!

  • From what album? beautiful flute...

  • For some reason Low Spark of High Heeled Boys is one of my favorites of Traffic albums, it's so clean, so direct, perfect melodies. Everything has the right blend, it's so balanced. Sometimes it's incredible to believe all the different "Winwoods" you can find, but the one of the late 60's and early 70's is the best in my opinion

  • peace and love from greece also....

  • That's m'boy!

  • When i was 5ish i used to sing this song "rain naked".... while naked.

  • I LOVE TRAFFIC!!! ;0)

  • I love this album, but this song always makes me feel so sad. It was one of the favorite songs of a girl that I loved as much as life itself back in the early 1970's. This song brings back my memory of her so vividly. She died 7 years ago and I still feel the loss.

  • @lecagot2 Sory, lecagot. May she rest in peace.

  • Please post more Traffic! Thx.

  • is there a video or song that youtube DOESNT have? this is going way back. this totally eliminates the need to pay for music services. why would you when youtube is FREE?

  • Time has proven Traffic to be one helluva of a great band and this is another reminder of why.

  • This is one beautiful song.

    Peace and love from Greece.

  • All these new uploads of old Traffic songs, is making me feel like somebody turned me loose in the candy store!

  • Me too, glynnth :-)

  • (Your comment reminded me, I'm supposed to add this to my favorites list!)

  • Absolutely brilliant (bowing down to Mr Windwood). Love this song's leap from a sort of Bach inspired medieval incantation into sublime, evocative dissonant jazz. Pure genius.

  • What a great song. So well-produced, vinyl was cool.

  • Good. Honest. Accomplished. Meaningful. My God......you can't help but notice a dumbing down of the world.

  • wow, what a graet song

  • The *greatest* song from the "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" LP.

Mind you, for the purists out there--the artwork is from the equally brilliant 1973 "Shoot-Out At The Fantsasy Factory" LP, *not* the "Low Spark" album (It has blue clouds on front).

Nevertheless, Winwood, Capladi, Wood, and ReBop made THIS one a *winner!*

    Thanx...

  • Traffic 74 tour was my first concert ever. What an indocternation into the world of live music. They improvised all night. I was never the same.

  • What a great song. I think such great things can sometimes be overlooked. I think this song is wonderful. I love everything about it. Thankyou so much!!!!

  • This song has always set the mood... just to mellow out and ........... do whatever... This song sculpts my life...imaginagion, desires and just love of music~

  • Haunting and very excellent musicians. I wonder why this song was not more popular. I love its very special quality.

  • @ysisoli I agree, this song is one of my all time favourites from the Traffic.

  • @ysisoli It was huge in Montreal (among other places).

  • @ysisoli it was ahead of it's time =]

  • this song is absolutely perfect in so many ways. brilliant

  • I love this

  • What a great percussionist and Chris Wood was fantastic. Great song.

  • I am so in love with this authentic and quality sound. Always to be remembered!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When I hear music like this it makes me realize just how lame most of the modern music today is

  • @mredtheanalyst WELL SAID...

  • Man, I love rock songs that have the flute in them. I really like this song.

    Good one.

  • make some bloody rain!!!!!!!
