lol, I got one of these but it's pcg n505x exactly same size, I use it to watch films on if I go to see someone etc, the cd drive cable slots in the pcmcia, and the parallel port on the left goes to a port replicator to give you printers and another usb port etc.. mine only has 64mb of ram so i'm considering changing the hdd for a compact flash drive, so the cached page files can read write to the flash with quick read / write times
i got mine at thrift shop for 15 my problem is i want to upgrade ram wondering you knoew type it took seen some forums says it has 2 slots then i saw terror down shows only one slot my freinds brotherinlaw putt os on mine have no idea how he did it lol
Hmmm..I was under the impression it only has one slot, with a max of 192mb (which you can run XP on, for basic stuff)
For memory, I ALWAYS check with crucial (they've never been wrong). Picking out your computer from the drop down list (or using their scanner tool) will tell you what type and how much your laptop takes. Here is the link:

I just found a Vaio PCG-933A in the trash today. Doesn't have a power adapter. I'll see if it works tomorrow by taking it to my local computer shop.
