  • Mrs.Cake cheated on you,but that make sense right?

  • Oh ho ho. It is funny because he's implying that his wife might be having an affair.

  • Wait... Who's Thunderation?!

  • hm. I see these guys just LOVE to reuse hair xD i see the same hair on different ponys just in different colors xD

  • in genetics, genes can be carried by someone unannounced to them, and doesnt even have to have the effect of said gene. while that said, somewhere down the line a offspring could have a chance of acquiring said gene from generations ago.

there. you just learned something today

  • because messing with the genetic code of children is fun. what is wrong with these ponies!

  • When it comes to making shit up,Mr. Cake could put even Star Trek to shame!

  • HAHA no

  • Why doesn't he just say it

My wife is a whore and I don't give a fuck

  • Use the magatama!

  • MOLESTIA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THEY SHOULD OF BEEN ALICORNS!

  • Princess Luna: TIS A LIE!

  • .. No, Mr. Cake, your wife is just a whore.

  • What he's actually thinking "WHEN I CATCH THE GUY WHO..."

  • I knew Pinky Pie was not that evil.Cupcakes must have been disguised as Pinkie Pie(because the movie is called Cupcakes,so he must have starred in that show.)

  • Is it just me, or does the other baby at 0:01 look a bit like... Trixie?

  • Related Videos: Pinkie Pie - Wrong!

  • Well you got me.

    *Pulls down screen*

By all accounts, it doesn't make sense.

  • he knows that aint his baby

  • Big Mac: Nnnnnope.

  • Hmm...

This could break my previous theory, unless there are many chromosomes... Or maybe the pony type is determined through some other way... Or maybe gene mutations...

Hmm... If it were determined by two base pairs, that would be possible... Just not likely...

  • Related video: "Pinkie Pie - Wrong!"

    ^ now THAT makes sense

  • @Radi0he4d1 I was just about to say that

  • Why doesn't he just say it...

"My wife is a whore an I don't care."

  • it make sense..RIGHT!? RIGHT!!!!!? O_Q!!!

  • He's not the only one who's had a piece of that cake.

  • he's trying to say his wife cheated him ;)

  • That makes sense right?

MY WIFE'S NOT CHEATING ON ME RIGHT?

    RIGHT?

  • The art of Molestia

  • suddenly trollestia comes in

  • I miss "she's a whore, dumbass" top comments.

  • that fact that he asks "that makes sense right?" after all that is what's making me question this...

  • No. It does not make sense. Cupcake's great-aunt's second cousin twice removed would be the same generation as the cake babies. Therefore, that means that said pegasis would be their first cousin. And thats taking the presumption that the great-aunt is the sister of one the grandparents. If she is related by marriage, that would mean that they are not even related at all. Either way, they could not share the gene for being a pegasis, because the marriage-related parent of the cousin would have

  • @sonilver33 There's also a Trixie baby. I think that's who it was...

  • Time to call Maury!

Phelps: DON'T YOU LIE! YOU KNOW YOUR WIFE HAS BEEN CHEATING AND YOU ARE AFRAID TO FACE THAT FACT!

Mr Cake: How can you say that? i have full trust in my loved wife!

*notebook* You know that these genetics doesn't count. Do you know how "Pony reproduction* works?

Mr Cake: *Starts crying and pulls a gun well knowing what has happened and what IS going to happen*

Wait, why did i write all this?

  • I love his nervous "That makes sense, right?!"

Makes it seem like he's cheating...

  • @SunshineTheHedgehog molestia's behind it..

  • I think you guys are over anylizing this a bit ..xD

  • @RainTheKitten Fuck my spelling. You get the point XD

  • shure. i think SOMEONE cheated in this relationship. :p

  • @3m0andproud Yes, having an affair with a goddess makes more sense the pony genetics.

  • @3m0andproud Someone?

It's not a matter of someone.

It had to have been Mrs. Cake.

If Mr. Cake had intercourse with another mare it wouldn't have affected Mrs. Cake's pregnancy now would it?

  • @3m0andproud You mean SOMEPONY

  • @3m0andproud Cheated several times is more like it.

  • @3m0andproud HAX!

  • @3m0andproud He's either lying or in denial.

  • He looks like he works at McDonald's.

  • Don't worry Pinkie, they'll never guess that you were the third one, Solidus.

  • The apparently low likelihood of obtaining a unicorn or pegasus relative to an earth pony may seem a bit strange, but it could theoretically be explained in terms of population genetics. A good real-life example of this is the ABO blood antigen group. The majority of caucasians have the O blood type, despite the fact that the O allele is recessive to both the A and B alleles (i.e. AO gives you the A phenotype, etc.)

  • because molestia

  • Anyone else see the rarity, and Trixe baby at 0:01 ?

  • seems legit

  • Hmm... considering I'm to lazy to do genetics math or whatchamacallit, I decide Ms.Cupcake is *ahem*

  • rarity is a mother!

  • 0:01

    Rarity's daughter.

    :inglip:

  • i am gonna find a way to use this in my science homework, i could probably make it into an inheritance chart

  • Mrs. Cake boinked an Alicorn. Obviously.

  • 0:16 Rainbow Dash: Hell teh fuck no!

  • @WetardsReloaded Actually, their color scheme remains this way throughout the episode, showing that it was, indeed, unintentional. This also happens in several other episodes.

  • Anyone Else Notice He Says "My Great Great Grand Fadder"?

  • does anyone else see the Rarity baby at 0:01?

  • @sonilver33 and a trixie baby :3

  • @sonilver33 The baby next to her looks very great and powerful.

  • @sonilver33 i noticed that the first time i saw the episode. lots of people did already, i don't know why people keep bothering to comment about it. even those who haven't figured it out would probably notice it at some point.

  • @sonilver33 HOLY FUCKING CELESTIA FLYING THROUGH THE SKY TO SUMMON A GIANT ICE CREAM CONE OF JUSTICE! YOUR RIGHT!

  • @sonilver33 Yeah, and the other baby at right looks so Great and Powerfull

  • makes so little sense, the only logical idea left is that Mrs. Cake is a cheating whore... that makes sense, right?

  • My Little Pony!

Teaching little kids about genetics one step at a time!

  • Aaaaaaaaand suddenly Molestia.

  • Comment removed

  • did he flex his tail? i didn't know they could do that

  • @24681again

I was just kidding man. I didn't mean to sound like I was mad or anything, I just try not to think about the genetics of unicorn and pegasus ponies...or really anything to do with the scientific reality an animated tv show...even though I can't help it with anime like bleach... So again, I'm sorry if I sounded like a jerk...

  • OBJECTION!

  • @24681again

Goddamn you for making me think about the genetics of ponies!!!

Btw in your explanation, you seem to rely heavily on Mr Cake being the real father... I kinda doubt that...

  • @TheDrazonian I'm sorry!! D:

Huh. Well, we'll never know how the babies came to be..... Maybe it was the wrong set of twins. :I

  • i blame the umbrella corporation.

  • @MyREV3NGE It's ALWAYS their fault... for.. everything.

  • Baby Rarity O____________________O

  • @JokeriPokeri17 AND BABY TRIXIE!

  • Actually, it does make sense. If the pegasus and unicorn were from an older generation, but THEY had another generation with two regular ponies, and then THEY went with regular ponies also, all Mr. and Mrs. cake had to do was give their children the recessive pegasus and unicorn genes.

...So because HIS great great grandfather was a unicorn, Mrs. Cake would have to have a recessive gene as well...but then being a land pony...they can't give the recessive pegasus gene...IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE

  • hahaha what a story mark

  • right in front of rarity at start Baby Rarity/Rarity's Baby

  • OBJECTION!

  • u: Recessive unicorn allele

    p: Recessive pegasus allele

    E: Dominating earthpony allele

(Assuming that the genotypes of mr. cakes is "Eu" and of mrs. cakes is "Ep")

Possible children could have been: EE, Ep, Eu, or up.

As we can see, there is a 1/4 chance to get a fenotype of an unicorn or a pegasus. We can use simple probability mathematics to calculate the odds of getting a pegasos and then an unicorn, or the other way around.

    (4ncr2)*0,25^2(1-0,25)^2=0,21093..

About 21%. Am i doin it rite?

  • @random322111 Ahmmm yes you did it rite , I think ...

  • @random322111

Or short answer, his wife's a whore.

  • @random322111 Stop bringing back memories of biology...(and yes ur doin it rite)

  • @random322111 Your Math Scares Me :C

  • @random322111 if only it worked out at exactly 20%

  • @random322111 It seems a bit odd having the up genotype randomly give you a unicorn/pegasus. One option would be to have the trait dependent on 3 loci.

    LOCUS 1 (2 alleles, E and O):

    E-=earth pony

OO=other set of loci decides phenotype

    LOCUS 2 (2 alleles, A and a) and LOCUS 3 (2 alleles, B and b)

    A-B- (- could be any allele)=Unicorn

A-bb, aaB-, or aabb = Pegasus

Then, if the Cake's genotypes are EO/Aa/Bb and EO/Aa/BB, the likelihood of this combination of children is 0.20%

  • @Greenstorm33 ..... That... actually makes sense...

  • @random322111 Makes sense to me

  • @random322111 You overcomplicated the last bit. It's simply (1/2)*(1/4) = (1/8) = 12.5%

For the first twin, you have P=(2/4)=(1/2) that it's either Ep or Eu.

For the second twin, you have P=(1/4) of getting the other genotype.

  • @random322111 ... holy fuck, man.

  • @random322111 wow

  • @random322111 tl;dr

  • @random322111 Using this comment, I have deduced that Big Mac is some kind of genetic freak with a phenotype of EEup.

  • @TheLlamaHaze

    lol'd

  • @random322111 DON'T you use your fancy mathematics to mettle the issue!

  • pony logic :/ makes sense right?

  • pinkie pie:SEEMS LEGIT

  • Likely story..

  • :ppthisismegivingafuck:

  • carrot is infertile. they had used to use donated sperm. the donor was half pegasus and half unicorn. he made up the excuse because he doesn't want people to know that he is infertile.

  • nooooooooo the look on his face is a rather adult joke that she cheated but he doesn't want to admit it

  • Cup Cake's a whorese.

  • I think this is the producers telling us bronies to shut up about it.

  • "That makes sense right?"

    "Oh honey...."

  • How long will you be in denial over the fact that your wife had two affairs?

  • @CitizenKahne1015 OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

  • Isn't anyone more concerned about the Rarity foal at 0:00 ?

  • @aug325 And the great and powerful Trixie foal next to her?

  • @akatsukisinmyblood mmm...Quite, Quite. *blows bubbles out of pipe*

  • alright nerds, this is a job for you. Break out your Punnett squares, it's time for some multiple alleles

  • @cgoodi100 Already been done by some other brony nerd on Memebase, made sense to me

  • Celestia was here.

  • Seems Legit.

  • Watch this, then watch "Pinkie Pie- Wrong!"

  • This actually DOES make sense. It works because of recessive genes.

  • @Bellyofthebeast6 i'm voting your comment up for science.

  • @TheLastHylianTitan *Dr. Insano laugh*

  • @Bellyofthebeast6 Great great second cousin twice removed? Don't think it works.

  • @IggyTkO Oh yeah.. forgot about that one. I don't know if that one would work or not, but I know the other one would. Maybe something went wrong during a generation and the recessive gene never showed up?

  • @Bellyofthebeast6 it would work....if Mrs. Cake's relative was actually a blood relative

  • @Bellyofthebeast6 but that means they'd both have to have a pegasus gene, unicorn gene, AND earthpony gene (triple alleles?)

  • damn all the good comments are taken >:(

  • Someone need to go on maury

  • baby rarity at 0:01

  • @violettheory the show is really fucking with us now...

  • @violettheory Right next to what appears to be a baby Trixie as well.

What were they up to between seasons?

  • Truth : She had a 3some with a pegasus and an Unicorn. :D

  • SEEMS LEGIT

  • Little girls who watch this won't understand the misleading logic here. xD

Either his wife had "affairs" with several others OR there was a mutation involved (I don't know just guessing), b/c it's not likely to have a pegasus and a unicorn when the parents are both earth ponies.

  • Little Girls: Oh, it's because of their family!

Bronies: DOHOHO his wife's a whore!

    Hrm...

  • how is ponny formed?

    how is ponny formed?

    how mare get pragnent?

  • I see Carrot Cake is unshaven and fatiqued after long hours caring for his wife and waiting for the foals. Does anyone else admire the detail they put into the show under the appropriate situations?

  • @oneverycoolguy, OH, YES.

Horses also get long whiskers like that if not shaved for a long time.

Someone on this show knows their animals. :D

  • @oneverycoolguy Yes. They were able to get that little detail, but weren't able to give Fluttershy and Carrot Cake their normal shade of yellow.

  • @mrPAK215

The glass changes all of their colours. In other words, that's even more thought put into the details.

  • I can only think in the white baby unicorn in the beggining...rarity has some shit to explain...

  • @FeNiXwOnG951

Also the baby with the same colour scheme as Trixie but without a horn.

  • Suggestions: Pinkie Pie - Wrong!, Fluttershy - You understand, don't you?

    *dons Overthinking cap*

  • Celestia got her eggs in Cup Cake, and they were fertilized with Mr. Cakes sperm... That makes sense. Right?!

  • "Easy! Cup Cake's a cheating whore. That makes sense, right?"

  • @CoptaDeRofl Cupcakes, so sweet and tasty...

  • Fuck this shit. Celestia did it.

  • YEAP, that makes fuking sense

  • Pumpkin Cake I believe is legit. Pound Cake, on the otherhand, I think resulted from Cup Cake cheating on Carrot with a pegasus and the sperm from the second father developed in the same egg as Pumpkin, resulting in twins.

That, or Pinkie Pie went on a sugar binge one day and the cakes were in desperate need of cash, forcing Carrot to pimp out his wife and one of the customers was a pegasus. XD

  • I think you're all reading a little too deep into this whole twins-of-different-breeds deal, or you're just being plain immature. It's a show about talking ponies for pete's sake.

  • @grugonk itsfun.jpg

  • One of those babies at the beginning look simply marvelous, darling! The other looked quite Great and Powerful.

  • 1% of the comments: Scientifically explaining the dominate and recessive genes of poundcake through logical reasoning.

99% of the other coments: lol Mrs. Cake had an affair!
