  • The book sounds fantastic. I have an audio copy of it and want to listen to it soon.

  • i listened through this book as an audio book and it was so good! libba bray does all the voices she is amazing!

  • @xxxRaspberry There's an audio version? Oooooh! This I did not know!

  • Umm wud a guy read this... And btw, I live in America, and ur accent Is reallllly coool!!!!

  • @johnnyv272 Definitely, it's still really funny, for guys or girls.

  • lol your texas accent actually isn't that bad

  • Think I will skip on this one! Dont think I could handle the premise, no mater how Tongue-in-cheek.

  • @7h3p1930n Aw, but it's like the best book! You should read Going Bovine, another book by the same author, it'll get you hooked on her work.

  • I know you mostly do videos on novels but your previous video got me thinking...do you plan to do future videos about specific anime and manga you like?

  • @micronoid Oh, I will try, I just haven't been reading much manga recently. Or at least not much new manga.

  • "Let me shave your legs tonight girl"

LOL!! I wish that was a real song.

  • @ForbiddenMuggles I would definitely buy it! Libba should get to itunes and make it happen XP

  • I TAKE IT THIS WOULDN'T BE A BOYS BOOK?!

  • @Jordanificationily I have made many boys I know read it. It's a hillarious book, for boys or girls.

  • @SableCaught THANKS :-) I WAS JUST WONDERING IN CASE IT WOULD BE WEIRD IF I READ THIS! (P.S I forgot about doing all of the capital letters on the first comment, must of done it by accident! so i thought i would just make it the same!)

  • Sounds hilarious!

  • @MrPalagrin It really really is. I offered to review this for T4F didn't I?

  • Oh no, I really want to read this now!

NO! No Janine, you will not spend more money on books for a while.

But I want to read it gahhh!!

    Okay, maybe....

  • @diaryofabooknerd Buy this and it'll be so awesome that you won't need to spend money on books again for ages ...or you'll just go made and buy everything Libba Bray's ever written ...like I did XP

  • Ahh yes. I have Beauty Queens and I must get around to reading it. So busy though =/ it's nearly our summer holidays though, so I'll read a lot then.

  • @anosmicaussie Our summer holidays are just coming to a close : (

  • Im glad you liked it! I LOOOVEEE this book! The ending was sooo...lovely!

  • @Isabel56796 I know ^___^ Also I loved the little snippits on what happened to all the characters. Especially 'Tray Head'. XP

  • I have seen this around a lot, but I really want to thank you for reading some of it. Hilarious! Actually, I think you did pretty good on the Texas accent, but what do I know, I 'm from Ohio!

  • @bumblesby XP The book is so good I just wanted to let it speak for itself, you know?

  • I have pottermore, add me! VineQuill156

  • @soup0dragon Haha, Suzi I didn't realise that this was you until I tried to nickname you Soup0dragon and I was like ...oh wait.

  • Libba Bray is made of awesome.

  • @EggplantsandTeacups Made of so much awesome! She tweeted about my video! *goggles in amazement*

  • @SableCaught That just makes it official :)

  • @EggplantsandTeacups I just can't get over the idea that she's seen my face XP

  • Your american accent actually isn't THAT horrible. It sounds really like a mixture of valley girl/american/irish.

  • @nataliebookreviews Haha, whenever I go over to Ireland I do end up getting a strong accent but it's nowhere near Irish and somewhere near slurred cockney XP

  • @SableCaught It sounds a little bit similar to my accent, which is a Michigan one, but your "R"s are too long. It still was waaaaay better than my attemt to a British accent!

  • Ahhhhh a new Libba Bray book!! - did you read 'A Great and Terrible Beauty' series by her? I love the sound of this book, another one to add to my 'get round to reading' list, - you seem to recommend me a lot on there! xx

  • @The8thWeasleyChild Haha, this should definitely go near the top! And actually this was the first Libba Bray I read, I'm almost finished Going Bovine though and A Great and Terrible Beauty just arrived in the mail. I suspect I will be adding the next to to my basket as soon as I start it as well XP My addiction is so expensive! XP

  • @SableCaught I know the feeling, my mum used to like the amount I read, now she keeps moaning that it's quite expensive. I now charity shop older books I want :D Yes you will want the next in the series of GaTB, the plot's very addictive! xx

  • @The8thWeasleyChild I might order them now. I am addicted to hunting through charity shops for bargin books. I need to make more videos like the one I made in Leamington.

  • how often do you finish a book?

  • @sunriseangel89 Erm about once a week? Maybe twice a week. I'm counting up how many books I'm reading this year and so far I'm on 70.

  • @SableCaught Holy ****! XD haha... I wish I had the time to read that much... unfortunately I am a slow reader and my university is taking just about all my time... :/ I have so many books that I haven't read yet and really want to read... and you're just making my "must read"-list longer.. XD How do you find the time??

  • @sunriseangel89 Well I start uni in two weeks so my reading will probably grind to a halt >.< Why doesn't uni set books that will actually be fun to read rather than just countless victorian novels?

  • @SableCaught beats me... although my uni books are a bit different... they're about what kind of fonts look good together with what kind of spacing... Should it be bold? Italic?? Oh, and apparently the font Helvetica is the Jesus of fonts! :b ..... it's been a long day in school... what semester are you starting?

  • @sunriseangel89 I'm in England so we have terms instead of semesters (I think!) and I'm about to start Michaelmas ...or first term if you're not a looser XP So I assume you take design?

  • @SableCaught oh, cool! You assumed right... ;) Graphic design... well, it's really only part of my course... It's called Medialogy all together... it includes programming, scripting, animation etc. It's rather exciting... but watching a 1 hour video about Helvetica can be a bit of a drag though... :P I don't really understand the "if you're not a looser"-part..? Is calling it Michaelmas uncool? I've never heard of Michaelmas before... I live in Denmark so things are a bit different here... :)

  • @sunriseangel89 Michaelmas, hillary and trinity are pretty much only what you call the terms if you go to Oxford or Cambridge, everyone else just calls them first, second and third. How does it work in Denmark? Two semesters a year?

...what on earth can you say about font for a whole hour? O.o

  • @SableCaught you'd be surprised... :P it's a whole new level of geekiness... some guy actually admitted that the font turns him on more than women do.. :D Yes, two semesters a year... I'm in my first semester now, started barely a month ago... second semester starts in february... they are not really called anything special.. :P What are you going to study?

  • @sunriseangel89 That is amazing, I will never look at Helvetica the same way again XP I never new they were called anything special until recently but I'm definitely jumping on the bandwagon. XD And I'm going to study English Literature and History, surprisingly enough *looks at all the books looming around her*

  • @SableCaught haha! I never would have guessed! XD Sounds interesting... I couldn't do it though... history was never my strong suit... :b Do you want to teach? Or become an author? As I recall, J. K. Rowling has a background in studying/teaching(?) litterature in France (I could be wrong though, don't quite remember) and Eoin Colfer, for instance, is a teacher... both of them using their backgrounds to create amazing books... When I used to read a lot my dream was becoming an author... still is.

  • @sunriseangel89 I did do some teaching in the last two years when I was studying maths and I did really enjoy it, I definitely would have continued with it if I'd continued with maths. But yeah, the dream has always been to be a writer. I just love telling stories, one day I wanna see my name in print ^____^

  • @SableCaught awesome! :D Good luck with that.. :) I hope the dream is realized one day for both of us.. Anyway, I need to finish my homework and get some sleep.. I'm so far behind... -_- btw I hope to add you on Pottermore once I get access to it if I may? :)

It's been nice chatting with you... Keep up the great videos... I enjoy them very much... :)

  • @sunriseangel89 Haha, I went to bed before I could read this comment, but thank you, I do too. And definitely add me, I will nickname you 'Helvetica Girl' XP

  • Haha brilliant review, the accent was...interesting. Though not as bad as I'd expected mind. As per usual the books going on the ever growing "to read" list!

  • @MrSirPopey I demand it sky rocket up that to read list. It's too good to wait while you consume lesser books XP

  • I'm an America and I thought your American accent wasn't THAT bad, although I do think it's very cool and amusing to hear what the British sound like trying our accent's on for size. Anyway I think it's the way you put R's in a word without one like "law abiding " you said "Lawr abiding" But your texas twang WAS the best and very cute. The book sounds awesome and I ran out and got it immediately(actually I bought the E-Book but you got the point). Thanks

  • @TheJunkiesuperhero Yay ^____^ Tell me what you think when you read it, although I know you'll think it's awesome because how can anyone not.

And I'm glad you think my American accent is cute, I was scared I'd wake up to find I'd dropped 200 subscribers XP

  • yeah your American accent is really awful. I might read this though sounds kinda hilarious

  • @Chell532007 I thought I couldn't read it in my British drawl XP

  • @Chell532007 But yeah, do read it, I think it might be my book of the year.
