@mocatx I actually started on a side stick and then transitioned back to a yoke. So for me it was fairly easy. I would have a harder time switching to a plane that would have me use my right hand on a center stick.
haha...this guy reminds me of the guy who did tower at my local airport. I guess he thought he was at JFK . You could barely understand him he spoke so damn fast.
@tomtom5418 It's certainly challenging when they feel the need to talk quickly. Although maybe in his defense this was a large group fly-in and I think he had a number of planes approaching. Maybe he was trying to keep things moving. But it's probably just his personal style. :)
Very nice way to show the event of your landing. I keep two cameras in my sailplane but the idea of a third looking off the wing is very interesting. Thanks again for taking the effort to share. I am sure editing this took a little bit of work :) Fly safe.
@HEIIRAZ0R Thanks for the comment, but please don't look at my videos as a precise guide to flying. Planes are all different and I'm a beginner, so there are some things here that aren't perfect. But you can use these as a general guide to what you can expect. Thanks for writing. :)
@max9280 That day at that time it got busy because we were all attending a fly-in. They have a nice restaurant there. I think the controller was a little baffled by the surge in traffic!
Awesome video. Congratulations !!!! Great job. Thank you very much for sharing. It would be wonderful if you could place a camera on a close up to the crystal displays to know what is going on and enjoy this technology a bit more.
Best amateur flight video I have ever seen. Love the cockpit view. Great how you get both side-windows on the film when filming forward seats. Where did you mount your camera?
On this flight and on many of my recent flights, the camera was mounted using a suction mount on the right rear passenger window with an extension arm moving it toward the center of the plane. The real trick to the side windows staying in view is a wide angle lens attachment. Quite helpful!! Thanks for writing.
You have really managed to capture the joy of flying. It really feels like I am a passenger and I don't even have to turn my head to look around! HD makes it look even better. Beautiful stuff sir.
this video has been added to "My Favourite". I always love to listen to radio contact.

Fair point! Fast machine to learn in (assuming Cirrus) Well done you!
Very good quality videos and sound, I love real pilot videos with no silly music.
You have a chance to learn something
Happy and safe flying

How is the Airport Grille? I have not been there since 2007.

@eynorvor It's a very nice restaurant. I think they re-opened under new management. It might even have a new name. I can't remember.
