If you wanna do a barrel drop you can also use a lighter to melt it do it slowly and alway have a glass of water in case it catches fire every1!

Hey guys if your gun isnt firing its because when you took the spring out to stretch it you disloctaed the mechanism that holds all the air. Theres two parts of the air mechanism that slide and the front part lokcs into place right behind the bullet chamber

the stretching of spring is only a temporary solution, should get a replacement spring.

You don't have to take the trouble to cut the pegs, just take some sharp sheers or wire-cutters and take the + off the front of the little caps. Bit easier if you've got the tools.

@LEGOl3OY yah do not dry fire it though the loud bang is it dry firing or if the plunger isnt completely locked in it will just be pulling the whole plunger mech back and slamming it forward which is not good

@LEGOl3OY yup. Before the air restrictors limited how fast the air went through the chambers, so some was left behind. This makes like an air cushion and slows the slam of the plunger. With them, each shot yields a tiny "pooft" of air. Once they are removed (no more air cushion) the plunger hits forward much harder. This forces all the air out quicker, but doesnt slow the plunger which bangs very hard into the front of the gun. This is the sound u hear.

For those attempting this: his knife is sharp as hell, and I had all kinds of trouble trying to get the drop barrel going. Ended up using a hacksaw and cleaning up with a knife, which is much easier.

Don't the poles off the top of the air restrictors. Yo can make the hole bigger but the pole go into the dart to allow the air to compress in chamber and press the dart out from the edges. If you take the pole out you are letting air into the dart and losing you initial pressure.

@fackingpos the metal rod on inside the cocking device, has to go through a spring inside the gun in order for it to automaticlly cock back. maybe you missed that when putting it back together?

1 u should NOT stretch the spring it actually damages as a spring works at its best at 75% compression it is better to put some pennies at the end or o rings over the plunger where the spring fits also in stead of cutting the blue bit off at 5:37 there are 2 grey notchs on the barrel closest to the handle as this means it comes out the same but is locked better when the barrel is in place

@CitizenSieyes hmm, im modding right now,2 of the the screws are stripped. wtf, this is new. well anyway... the pegs obviously come off because his gun shoots well. maybe you didnt re-insert something?

@ranma125125 I figured it out. When I cut the pegs off, I f'd up the base, where the six holes are, and air is leaking out all over. I tried mushing them back into shape, and it works slightly better. In another video, he just drills out the ARs on a Recon. I may try that, make it cleaner. TO ALL HENCEFORTH: BE CAREFUL WITH THE BASE OF THE PEGS. IT NEEDS TO FORM A TIGHT SEAL WITH THE CHAMBER.

I did the Barrel mod, it worked! would reccomend it!! shoots further, but is louder. still worth doing
