Oh I totally agree, 1975-1976 Dylan is my favorite era. I can't get enough of the RTR. I saw him in Tulsa earlier this past summer, I'm so sad to hear his voice gone. Oh well, might as well enjoy the legend while we can!
I agree that 75-76 was Dylan's greatest period but he's still fabulous today, he was never a great singer by conventional standards and his voice of today is more expressive than ever.
His studio work today is really good. I appreciate all he has done, but live... Well I saw him in Tulsa this year, couldn't understand much. The band is too loud and his voice too raspy. Tell Tale Signs was a nice view into the outtakes of recent years. "Red River Shore" is astounding.
I agree it might be tough attending a "modern times" Dylan concert if the sound is not great and you don't know all the words...I can't say I know what's that's like anymore but I had the pleasure of attending his Election Night show in Mpls and he was on fire, he's showcasing a whole new side to his voice...Dylan, like fine wine, gets better with age.
I think the time to hear the old classics are gone. I wished I could have seen Bob around 1975. And to the woman who sat behind me yelling, "Play something relevant!" I don't know you, but you cracked me up. Thanks.
He sounds awful. Face it, its horrdendous

Unfortunately, Bob hasn't played Hurricane live since the 70s. This is an amazing version of All Along the Watchtower, though.

I was hoping to hear "Hurricane" and "Blowin' In The Wind", "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Subterranean Homesick Blues".

That was a great ending to a great concert.
