Obviously its just a wooden box with a cheapo mic in it, what did you expect, I mean a guitar is only a wooden box with some steel strings on it. I bet their "custom shop" could run up a "road worn" version too, all scratched with beer stains on it, for about £150.
I don't think 50-odd quid is particularly unreasonable.

pretty sure this is just a random piece of wood with a cheapo mic inside. No way worth the stupid amount they're charging for it......

The wood is called "Sa Pelle" (i.e. Sounds like bell) NOT "Sapeeelly"
