Yeah I go back and forth with the strum pattern too when I play it. Haven't quite nailed it down yet... It's because it's sort of like a reggae kind of chop strum and then on the D parts it speeds up ... When I play it I find my strum pouring over into one or the other .. It either sounds too Reggae or too patterned when it's a mix. Only been going at it for a couple weeks and I'm sure it's ok, I'm just a perfectionist.
