What Changed? Warren still has Oz and the boys teaching pagan methods in his church why is Piper so accepting now? Well, I'm glad Mark Driscol shouted at wife beater and intimidators. I hope to GOd you're not one of those people who say these kind of actions need to be "understood" or you can't judge a matter and say there's "black" and "white" right and wrong in the matter. Sure, such men probably had poor past upbringings, but such sick actions are never justifiable in a Christian household. Any people who want to do that will need to become a Muslim if they want "scriptural" justification for their evils.

Mark Driscol is certainly not perfect,but he is faithful and his heart has been certainly in the right place up until now from all I can see. Be careful for straining out gnats and swallowing camels.

I don't know if it was 100% wisest way for Mark Driscoll to address this issue (I downloaded this vodcast and was kinda questioning the wisdom of that approach when I saw it)... but coming from a "Christian family culture" where if you're arrogant and act like a bully (not physically necessarily, but just bullish and obnoxious and self-absorbed) you largely are feared and treated with respect, but if you're honest and don't emitt a "fear-offending-me" vibe--

About anger. There is such a thing as righteous anger. Jesus got angry on several occasions. Like at the temple with the comercializing sacred things and calling the the people who preached, but didn't practice "fool, blind guides, brood of vipers"... you know all this of course.

Yet another person taking Mark Driscoll's yelling in the "Marriage and Men" sermon WAYYYYYYYYYY out of context. I submit to you, do you speak to men who are abusing, neglecting or harming their wife or girlfriend softly and "kindly" implore them to stop doing that because, it just isn't nice. Three of the best pastors to ever exist. They preach the Bible and they love Jesus. Whoever posted this seems to have a problem with pastors acting human. Everyone jokes, even pastors. They're not above anyone, we're all equally human.

What ticked me off though, was towards the end, the clip in of Driscoll screaming “HOW DARE YOU?!”. I’d like to point out that he was screaming at the men who abuse their wives. If that doesn’t make you angry, than there’s something wrong with you, not him.
