Certain areas of Evolution have been proven, but none of these areas can give credit to Evolution as being the origin of life. Saying otherwise is just deceitful. Dating methods are all followed by controversy and they still cant prove that life began with a single cell organism.

Our sin condemns us, but Jesus is the only one who offers redemption and made it available by dying for your sins. If people could just work their way into Heaven, why would Jesus have had to die?

Hindus say that Shiva will eventually destroy creation. In Buddhism youre reincarnated until you reach Enlightenment. Islam is somewhat similar with names and locations but Islam doesnt depict Christ as God nor did He die for our sins. So i cant think of a reason why Christ is inferrior to them, can you?

@TacoOnABoat Because Christ is the one who revealed Himself to me as the one true God, performed miracles in my family. He proved Himself to me and continues to do so on a regular basis, answered all of my questions when other religions could not. It isnt just something i learned or chose to believe. And if you ever get to studying other religions you cant help but notice there's a big piece missing, they dont deal with the issue of sin. They just give you a to-do list and hope for the best

Experiments are conducted but whats produced is not the required molecules needed to form an amino acid, and even then, not the right kind of amino acid. Hindus say that Shiva will eventually destroy creation. In Buddhism youre reincarnated until you reach Enlightenment. Islam is somewhat similar with names and locations but Islam doesnt depict Christ as God nor did He die for our sins. So i cant think of a reason why Christ is inferrior to them, can you?

@TacoOnABoat Because Christ is the one who revealed Himself to me as the one true God, performed miracles in my family. He proved Himself to me and continues to do so on a regular basis, answered all of my questions when other religions could not. It isnt just something i learned or chose to believe. And if you ever get to studying other religions you cant help but notice there's a big piece missing, they dont deal with the issue of sin. They just give you a to-do list and hope for the best

Change does to do, change that to the, either omit the "the" before tree or add one before snake, temptating = tempting, and change the whole premise of your argument cause its stupid. You know what? In Christian dogma, god is constantly testing man, it's a part of the whole insecure "You shall have no other gods before me," the Christian god has to constantly reassure that he is the most beloved thing in the universe. So the whole Genesis fruit story kind of follows character.

but thats just it.... what are the implications... we are the same value of a blotch of material because we are all made from the same basic matter and compounds... only self importance separates us from nature but the truth is that the only thing we have going for us is that we are smart... we may not be the highest evolutionary point and we shouldn't presume that we are... evolutionary theory is constantly being re worked as we learn more but the basic model still makes the most sense to me.

but atheists are the same. according to them we are all here by pure chance.

If you ask me to follow the implication of your thoughts, I would expect the same from you.
We are here by pure chance - and still we are not behaving like idiots. Life is senseless but not meaningless and the religious concept of sins never kept any believer from pulling a trigger. In contrary it often gave a good reason to. Not taking advice and guidance from "above", leaves me with my own responsibility and I have to think twice about what I'm doing. No god is going to give me absolution.

a believer does what he's told it's ok to do. religions provide different lists of things that are ok or not. and i trust a religious person to stick to his list out of fear, not an atheist and his 'responsibility'. ppl spend most of their time casting blame and running from it.

let me make one thing clear: for me, personally, god is the maximum potential of the man; the origin and ultimate ideal and goal for a human being. and it's something, since the only thing comparable to god is the universe itself.
now...
religions are just forms of manipulation and it takes some maturity to get over it.
but...
you know how fathers are - a bit unfair and sometimes mean, but they love you. better this than being a worthless speck of dust in space and time.

well let's set this straight, a religion does not only provide a list of things that are ok (or aren't, like the christians' list). this might be true for the many christian beliefs out there (paradox, isn't it?) but it's sure not only the list. it's a whole world view and often a preoccupation towards other human beings. thus it promotes arrogance and stubbornness and i fail to understand how this is connecting to our maximum potential. i understand that your definiton of god is a different one
