This is what my You-tube video-- STOPPING A TORNADO+ AIRBORNE M.A.S.E.R + COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMIC + WEATHER PATTERNS -- is based on. What if you knew the weather pattern ahead of time based on a math model. The M.A.S.E.R , not laser would alter pockets of air to disrupt the tornado pattern. This in turn would prevent the tornado from touching the ground in certain area's.
Wow, this video looks as if it was filmed right out back of my house when I still lived there during the tornadoes. It's amazing we were never touched in Madison... in my community anyway. Athens just down the road was literally flattened in some sections. But get this, the wind was barely blowing ten minutes before the tornado hit. And the smell of ions was extremely strong in the air. I assume the wind in our area was being sucked up by this massive monster- That's how I knew to take cover!

After further research, it appears the EF5 tornado passed through Tanner, AL just before 4:30 PM and I shot this video at 5:02. The EF1 tornado that went through Madison, AL came through just after 5 PM. Therefore I now believe I didn't video the EF5 tornado, just the beginning of the EF1 tornado. The blue flash from power lines falling was most likely just over a mile away which is how far the EF1 tornado passed from my location.
After viewing another video clip by another individual of a smaller tornado that passed just over a mile from my location and mapping it's track based on NWS data, I believe the strong circulation in the dark clouds near the end was actually a second tornado that was EF1 and is mostly blocked by the neighbors roofline. So now it appears I captured two tornadoes in the same clip...one at 10 miles away and a second one just over a mile away.
Colinwood Estates which is adjacent to Plantation Point off of Gillespie between Wall Triana and Balch roads. I work at the Browns Ferry nuclear power plant so I drive Gillespie which becomes Huntsville-Browns Ferry Rd through Tanner. Everyday I see the destruction this tornado caused just before I cross over I-65 at Tanner.
After the rest of the data came in NOAA officially called this tornado an EF5. 1.25 miles wide and 210mph winds at it's strongest. It was on the ground for 132 miles.
That was one scary day...I may not know you, but I'm glad you're okay :) I go to Tanner High and the area around it is AWFUL :/ There are a lot of homes that were obliterated and complete trailer parks and streets are gone...
