Many games of Model3 were never port, maybe at that time was difficult adapting to console, and then forgot and focused on other modern games. Is my opinion.....

@abelardator2 Daytona 2 no se trata de NASCAR pero si de ARCA. NASCAR es muy diferente porque ya no usan los de Oldsmobile. pararon en 1991 y tambien en ARCA. El que escohiste cuando el video empesava era un Thunderbird. esta era en ARCA todavia usan Pontiacs. no es replica pero es como NASCAR or ARCA. ARCA es mas viejo series que nascar. una vez how they did it was because ARCA tambien hacen carreras en Daytona

If you can make it work on your TV, Try recording it directly from the game. Kinda like how you do in consoles with a capture card.

The connector is VGA output. I have no video capture card...

@abelardator2: you don't need the hard level car to do it, just use the easy level car and adjust the handling of the game, then it's all just getting to an optimal speed from there

pero por lo q se ve no lleva adaptador de corriente incluido el aparato este y te lo envia con un cable no??? y a ti de la placa model 3 te sale conexion vga? o conectas con los pines?

Yo utilizo una fuente ATX de Pc para arrancar la Model3. Para el video utilizo la salida VGA de la placa, luego un convertidor de señal para ya ver correctamente la imagen en la TV LCD.

Si te refieres al convertidor de señal, en teoria te trae un cable corto de dos hilos, donde tienes q alimentar con +5 y Masa, que puedes sacar de la misma fuente ATX de Pc.

y una pregunta por curiosidad.. en el foro de nebula estube viendo tus fotos y tal de como conectar el volante, pero la placa lateral(la del vga) la conexion para juegos de coches solo tiene una y super larga(o tienes otra diferente)... como te has apañado?? esq de eso q me interesaba no pusistes fotos  :(

Supongo que te refieres a la FILTERBOARD de la Model3, la salida de conexion del juego. En el foro subi el esquema de conexion supongo lo habras visto, en teoria esa foto te servira para saber en tu juego lo que va en cada pin para conectar. De todas formas si tengo mas fotos, si quieres pasame tu correo y te envio. Si empiezas a montar el conexionado y no sabes algo ya me preguntas.

gracias tio.. pero por eso no tengo problema.. tengo todo el pinout de la placa y compre hace tiempo ya ,un convertidor a jamma muy bueno por cierto en coinexpress... era porq una vez en ebay vi el filterboard para juego de coches y tenia solo una conexion horizontal larga...

Intel Core2 Extreme Quad 3.0Ghz and Nvidia9800GX2, and MameUIX64 runs to 20 or 30 frames, and graphics with many errors, this game is unplayable at Pc.

I had the time to try daytona 2 on mame on my brother's pc and i figured out that with a dual core overclocked at 1,80 ghz it runs at about 50% of speed with 9/10 frameskip so with a quadcore overclocked at 4 ghz it should run fine (i guess...)

almost forgot...if you noticed anything strange in my second message i mean that my mother has a quad on her pc (but she doesn't let me use it - DAMN!) sorry for the misunderstanding if you noticed it but i'm italian and my english really sucks,hehe...

Mame take a long time to emulate the game well, "years" ... It's a great game can be played alone or in a original PCB.

Yeah but with a quadcore you should be able to play daytona usa 2 quite well with mame (at least for me cuz i have a quad) anyway if you search 'daytona usa 2' in youtube browser there are some videos of the game running on mame at full speed. the author is skeleton081983
