  • I really like this guitar!

Can anybody tell me what's the difference between EC-1000 & EC1000T (apart from the fact that 1st one has 24 frets)?

  • 3:18 que porno XD!!!!!!

  • Zakk Wylde doesn't like this video.

  • can anyone tell me the tabs of what he plays at the begining?

  • any maple top on an LTD is going to be veneer.. so what does it matter

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck, i was heavily attracted to this guitar until i heard it has an active pick up...

I really want this guitar , though.

  • @DanceGDance The closeup of the EMG pickups throw you off or something?

  • Does anybody know the Drive/Distortion pedal he uses?

  • @MitchRB15

He doesn't use one.. He's plugged in a ENGL stack man!

  • Wow I like that guitar!

  • Gibson still sounds better

  • that is not a maple top......

  • LOL at 3:14

  • Will there be a Eclipse II Standard Series in Full Thickness in 2012?.... If not then that's an idea that you could throw around at the esp office. New finishes as well. The VB and the SW aren't doing it for me and don't get me started on quilted tops... There are gloss black hard tail versions that I drool over but we don't get them here in North America. I saw a Gold Burst one recently that has just been sold in the U.S.

  • Turns out i don't know shit anymore:-(

  • LOL, ESP doesn't even put a little edit...

     "Not a Maple Top!".

I think should be in the video

  • @GRAVESEED It is a maple top.

  • @espguitarsusa Seriously? Everyone says it doesn't.... I don't know what to think anymore.

The site doesn't list a maple Top... I naturally assume that it doesn't have a maple top just like the other LTD's.

  • @GRAVESEED Many LTD EC models have a maple top. We need to clarify that on our site. Thanks.

  • @espguitarsusa

The new 2012 ESP site still does not mention any maple on this guitar though...

  • I actually don't mind the gold hardware. But I just can't believe ESP doesn't offer a CTM version in the ESP line. I have an Eclipse II and I've really been wanting this version because of the thicker body. Not sure if I'll be buying another guitar soon, but I'd rather by an actual ESP with the thicker body. I have both an ESP and LTD and I can tell the difference in the quality of sound between the two.

  • @midd movies, they do have them in black. I also heard they are going to stop the white models, is this true!!! :'(

  • Is there anyone that know the brand/name/serie of the wah pedal?

  • deadly guitar player.

  • It looks sooo much better without all that fucking abalone.

  • finally something thicker for me to buy

  • Looks like an awesome guitar for an awesome price. Can you tell us how heavy these guitars are and if their bodies are chambered or not?

  • please do a review of the m300-fm

  • can anyone confirm if this guitar really has a maple top?

  • @eddiegun It does.

  • @eddiegun Everything I have found states that this has an all Mahogany body. no maple top. But thats better for EMG's any way!

  • @StringSlinger26 thats what my conclusion is too. bought one in the meantime since i posted that question. i am now trying to find out if it has a weight relieved or chambered body, a la gibson. havent put it on a scale yet but if feels like it weighs much less than my les paul studio, which IS weight relieved. either way, this is probably the nicest <$1000 guitar ive ever played or owned.

  • @eddiegun Have you tried a Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro? I got one almost 2 years ago. UNCHAMBERED, solid mahogany body, real solid maple top. Thin neck. Locking tuners, PLEK'D neck. And perfect pickup combination. And stock coil taps. Best guitar I have ever played. Got mine new on sale, but they aren't super expensive used.

  • @StringSlinger26 thats a really nice guitar too. i wanted one for a while, but then i spent my money on other stuff :) it is unchambered, but weight relieved. i believe the only new gibson LPs you can get now with a solid body are the VOS reissues, which are out of my price range, booooooooooo

  • hey esp does the black version of this guitar have a rosewood or ebony fretboard??? please please reply

  • @TheMetalhead804 both the white and black EC-1000T CTM have ebony fretboards.

  • this guitar have a good sound !!!

  • I want one of each color. Thumbs up on the awesome binding, the perfect guitar ESP!!

  • TURN OFF THE WAH

  • shit!!! i just bought a similar ESP Eclipse I CTM white!!! 22fret + ebony fingerboard should only belongs to Eclipse!!!

  • I have a suggestion to LTD: On EC models, keep the ebony fingerboards for the 24-fret models and give us a real Les Paul alternative by offering rosewood fingerboard on these 22-fret models :(

  • @Ningirsutyr think about it this way lp customs have ebony fretboards so this is more comparable to a lp custom

    its kinda like an upgrade

  • i didn't think the ltd lines had maple tops?

  • MAN! You are a legend dude! Dio was my idol

  • I'm a repeat offender...that is, I can't stop watching this great guitar...:-(

  • Do I buy the ebony or snow white? Maybe both? Sounds good.

  • Seems like plenty of punch for your bucks. I live in the UK and seems the USA/EU models differ. Speaking to my local dealer, the USA models come with ebony fretboard and typical LP binding. The EU models come with rosewood fretboard and abalone binding...I prefer the ebony set up. Still, I think this would be a good workman's guitar.

  • since gibson les paul is too much for me this is the next best thing:))

  • whats the difference between this and ec 1000? 24 frets?

  • @ILikeToPlayGuitarToo Hey man, the real differences are, this model has 22 frets, it has a THICK body like a Les Paul and not the rear belly carve/thinner body as the 24 fret models. Personally I prefer this model as it feels more akin to an LP. I live in the UK and I see them advertised with EITHER rosewood or ebony fingerboard however, I prefer the ebony.

  • I can't seem to find any info on what makes it different from the rest of the line. Is it a thicker guitar and neck?

  • Hi can you please confirm if the UK spec models have an ebony neck?

  • Nice Engl rig Rowan.

  • This or the edwards LPC?

  • This guitar kicks ass.

  • Nice!

  • I like the wah/phase 90 action - very retro! Shame the amp volume was so low - I am sure the cleans would sound more lively and sparkly with the amp turned up more. OTOH those Engls are brutally loud!

  • Nice one Rowan, all the best.Nathan

  • Esp videos have gotten way better lately. :)

  • @shreddy412 yep for sure. that's how it should be haha.

  • Sounds like Zakk =D

  • any way he can demo the EC II STBC next to him?

  • aawesssommmeee

  • are they bringing it back in white!?!

  • sexy guitar, sounds amazing too

  • breathtakingly beautiful guitar with great tone:) I already have an ec-1000 and still want one!

  • this guitar is fucking phenomenal.

  • wah?

  • that has got to be the most soothing voice in metal haha beauty guitar as well

  • That's an epic ENGL Invader in the back there.

  • you guys should demo the esp ltd alexi 200

  • that tunners are the mos incredible thing in the world !!!!!
